Continuing my journey across Canada and US, I flew Tucson AZ (KTUS) - Phoenix/Deer Valley AZ (KDVT) - Winslow AZ (KINW) - Telluride CO (KTEX) - Pueblo CO (KPUB) over the past couple days.
Takeaways
- MSFS2020 on the XBOX, while giving folks without a PC an opportunity to participate in flight simming, is really frustrating when the app crashes. I’d experienced app resets only twice in the first 8000km of my trip and then I had 3 consecutive legs where the app reset while I was on final… total bummer…
- ATC in the Rockies or anywhere the terrain changes elevation quickly is crazy to follow their instructions - pick an altitude and stick with it…
- AZ and CO scenery is a joy to look at
- the Corner in Winslow Arizona (Take it Easy, Eagles, 1972) is there but doesn’t get the love it deserves
