…And I saw a UFO over Australia yesterday.
What did I do in MSFS today ? Nothing…darn… and I miss it too !
I am on my way to my southern home from one of those northern states.
Remove KATL in Content Manager.. underneath there is a lesser airport, but framerate improves miles around that place..
Nothing. Been reading FAA handbook on landing.
reading handbooks is chopped liver?

Please don’t Despair ! There are lots of helpful people that you can get expert assistance from.
not enough. A beautiful foggy morning, storms, 120kn winds aloft… swirling,
Snow in Orange NSW and an early kick-off to the ski season. Yes, we have snow skiing in Oz.
and I had stuff to do and couldn’t fly. Just enough time to check around the airport from the gate
Was inspired by the MSFS Official livestream with Flying Fabio, so wanted to continue the trip where they left off.
Downloaded the nice pack of Bush strips in Idaho/Oregon:
https://flightsim.to/file/1156/bush-strips-in-idaho
And a scenery for the Flying B ranch strip:

Made a little flight plan to visit 8 of these strips:
VFR Flying B Ranch Landing Strip (12ID) to Bruce Meadows (U63).pln (4.3 KB)
And did the little bush trip I created myself.
It was great fun, feel tree to try it yourself as well. I used the Savage Carbon mod;

Seen on Martha’s Vineyard, MA to Caldwell, NJ flight - I’ve been trying for more realistic “in-cockpit” only photos, either from the PIC, COP or PAX positions.
Block Island (I can almost see my new Gaya Simulations airport down there):
Montauk Point and Gardiner’s Island:
Plum Island immediately below and the Connecticut River where it meets Old Lyme in the background:
Closed airport Calverton Exec on Long Island:
The distinctive crescent shaped Orchard Beach in the Bronx - and beyond it LaGuardia’s RWY22 approach lights:
Tappn Zee Bridge and Tarrytown outside the COP window:
Had to curve around for the IAF to Caldwell’s RWY22, ended up passing over Tuxedo Park and IBM’s Sterling Forest Campus:
Neatly tucked into the hills is Ringwood Estates and beyond the ridge is Ramsey NJ:
Late afternoon arrival at Caldwell (Essex):
