Landing was challenging, but fun. And enjoyed the companion, so thanks to him, was fun!

Where did my settings go? Yesterday, not my first flight after the latest FS20 updates, all my assistance settings were changed - and more. Tedious to have reset everything. I did get airborne in the wonderful DA62X mod. I made a complete mess using the GTN850 but fortunately I managed to land at Tromsø ENTC successfully and clock up my second night landing.
I did some landing practice at St Barthelemy. It is very tight in the FBW A320, it doesn’t slow down as fast as the stock A320. (Take off is no problem however, default payload and fuel)
Only once did I manage to stop before going on the grass
Very tricky, go over the hill opposite the bay at 105-110 knots skimming the trees, throttle idle, then dip down to the water (picking up speed) landing with spoilers extended while using the ground effect to stay airborne until the runway is underneath the plane, landing at 105-110 knots. Reverse thrust + full brakes.
It should be easier when the wind comes from the other direction (not landing with the wind behind me) yet landing from the other direction is impossible with the A320, that last dip before the runway sends you into the water.
Fun practice, go around, touch and go, land, take off again with ECAM constantly complaining about hot brakes, leave the gear extended for cooling. Perhaps I should drag it through the ocean next time

Started setting up a short flight in the A320 from Dalaman, Turkey to Istanbul, Turkey then CTD on xbox. Again started setting up same flight and CTD. Third time lucky now but in answer to what have I been doing not a lot 
Practiced a high-altitude IFR flight in the TBM, from Seattle (KBFI) to Salt Lake (KSLC).
Using the WT G3000 mod, setting up the flight plan manually was reasonably pleasant, now that I’ve figured out how the airway input works.
Two minor problems:
- AI ATC still gets the wrong altitude (this is a known bug with MSFS and will be fixed in the next big update)
- I had some confusion when switching from the original flight plan into the approach procedure. But I caught it, set it back on the right waypoint, and got everything back on track.
No problems landing.

I’m currently flying a road trip we did a couple of years ago, north through Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland then up to Nordkapp in Norway. Todays flight was Sweden and I remarked to my wife that although Sweden is referred to as the land of forests and lakes, most of the time all we saw was forest.
But today the lakes were finally revealed to us!

Finally had a chance to test the new graphics card flying around San Diego during daylight (barely), and then after the sun went down there I took a quick run down the Oregon coast from Astoria to Cannon Beach and back, and then finally took off from Out Skerries to catch the Scottish sunrise. That Turbo Arrow is a real beast at climbing, I got up to 20,000 feet and then turned around and headed back down and landed at Unst.
