What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

It’s okay, maybe one day the liveries will make it to the Xbox.

I wanted to retest the data density (actual LOD ranges) for London and NY to compare with pre SU6 results. A few difficulties, direct VFR route now inserts another extra point in the flight path, from straight route to 3 way points.

It can be circumvented by ‘direct to’ ICAO code after spawning on the runway yet the other problem is altitude hold doesn’t work as before on the Bonanza. It simply keeps climbing past the target altitude unless you press alt hold again at the right time…

Letting the AI poilot fly the route results in this behavior
(Straight line is direct to EGLL with manual landing)

And he climbs all the way up to 1,800ft. Is there a way to restrict the altitude? Perhaps that will also stop the AI from adding a loop.

Started my day flying some cargo in my OnAir company in my Nextgen E110. Until it crashed and didn’t log my loooong flight. Got frustrated with it and uninstalled it and enough of that frustration.

I focused on just being the pilot and not a company owner and flew for my VA, Walker Air Transport in the TBM 930 doing passenger charter work from KBOS to KHFD.

I downloaded some freeware scenery for KHFD from Flightsim.to

Good flight in fairly rough weather.

Was in Sedona and going to do some airplane bmx, and when I spawned I saw this:

1st off I have live and ai traffic turned off so the airport should be empty, but there he is. As I proceeded to take off he disappeared and then about 5 min later he can zooming thru me from behind and to the right only to dissolve again… WHAT GIVES!

Are you certain it wasn’t a player?

I dont know like I said multiplayer was off and all air traffic both ai and human, they’ve been off for days too, so its not like maybe it was some left over network traffic that hadnt been read either… curiousor and curiousor

I just finished island hopping from San Juan to St Thomas to Spanishtown to St Barthelemy to St Kitts in the Cessna 208 B. I had a lovely sunset on RNAV approach into St Kitts. I can’t ask for a better ending to a flight than that!

rip ??? as " rest in pieces" ?!

I landed at Lukla in clear weather. The next time I took off from there, I left the weather live and headed to Paro. The cloud cover was excellent but missed my visual approach to Paro the first time around.

These are not the same thing.

Went flying around Hawaii and noticed that the line painters must have been a bit wasted when lining this runway…

Then some 777 fun in Japan

I think that this version of FS has finally got me to stop chasing (fps) numbers and allowed me to simply enjoy flying again.

Quite happy with the add-on mix for Nagoya now. Just wish I hadn’t stressed out the Zeke.

Though not marked compatible, L35 Big Bear Airport is doing well. The surrounding scenery in the area has been modified and it looks good as well. Off to see some new work at Ontario

Thought no add-ons, I wanted to check the LA County Fair Grounds, dragstrip - the Auto Club Speedway, and Brackett Field

Chino was next followed by an old add-on at Prado

Though still not marked compatible, the add-on at El Monte was working fine.

A quick climb, almost 6000 feet over Pasadena got me to an add-on at Mount Wilson. It even has a helipad!

Back through DTLA, over Mount Lee, Burbank, Van Nuys, and setting down at Whitman
