What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

Maybe you need to shield the harness.

Completed my Tour of Europe, following the flight plans from an old FSX add-on I had (“Discover Europe” by First Class Simulations). In that you had to use a Piper Pacer so I went with the JF Piper Arrow instead. I flew VOR-to-VOR the whole way, with no GPS guidance and no moving map assistance. I used Live Weather as well
when it was working that is! I found out the Arrow doesn’t like 150C ambient temps :frowning: Was fun getting back to basics with VOR navigation (plus a couple of NDBs along the way)

No, the wiring harness itself is too taut to be moved around the handle’s center screw hole where it’s further away from the rudder potentiometer. I was overly gentle the last times I opened it and didn’t pull on the wiring enough to get a good slack (out of an abundance of caution).

flew out of Chicago yesterday. The weather was kind of moody

You can get rid of these arcade instruments on external view, by going in options/assistance/true to Life(hard) and then down below ( the last assistance option ), expand and put EVERYTHING on OFF.
There you go , Happy flying !

beautifull lady !!! still hesitating to buy the add-on. I fear my old rig isn’t going to handle her very smoothly.
Had the problem in FSX ith their MD11.

i know that feeling
it’s extremely frustrating, but not unsolvable. I have thought many times to buy and i will very soon, some good rudder pedals. Then i’ll be able to buy a new TCA Airbus stick and block the twisting movement of it, in order to avoid “cutting” the cables inside it, or twist them and mess up the rudders!!!
But first buy the rudder pedals, otherwise same prob, may occur with the new TCA side stick

I bought the new LFBO scenery from FlightBeam. As a huge Airbus fan, this was a MUST HAVE !
So I decide to taxi arround with a A32N ( from FBW), in Airbus RETRO livery.

Looks pretty good as well! Don’t forget to perform a “wing wave” when you leave!

Flew along the Andes from Quito, Ecuador to Medellin, Columbia in the A320NEO.

These South American airports with their narrow taxiways and high terrain make for very scenic and dramatic approaches.

Had a very nice flight with wingflex and turbulence plus a very dramatic visual landing that included real world traffic heading straight at us on the runway after touchdown. We were cleared to land though. Not realistic but a bug that creates some unexpected events, sometimes tests your skill.

Flew from KSBP to KLAS over the stormy mountains in the DA62.

Iced up badly and bouncing off the stall alarm for a large part of the first leg.

Was that ever unnerving, but fun!

That is one of those challenging rides, and fun. I thought the DA62 had de-icing. Does it work? I know the DA62 Improvement Mod does work. I have not tried out icing yet.

It has a de-ice system. What is difficult to tell is if it is actually working. I was too s*** scared to turn it off to see if it would get worse.

Since I’m on Xbox, I can’t run the improvement mod.

actually, I love flying all the retro painted A20N
from the time they where colourfull, and very representative of their country. Now they look all very much alike. Like you said, not specially ugly, but just
Meh :joy:
