I flew the Twin Otter from Santa Fe to Farmington New Mexico (Suddenly we’re now doing American Truck Simulator routes) going to the Grand Canyon next
Today I looked at the Marketplace and chuckled.
Added the Hovercraft from Matrix and took it on a test flight over Sydney (which is where the first movie was made) - FLIGHTSIM SQUADRON – "But I can make it fly" – Mods for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Start my first leg (EBZH - EBSH) with the FK9 in an attempt to fly from Belgium to visit Mount Etna.
I try to fly time and heading, correcting for wind using and old fashioned flight computer. However, I cheated a bit with the tablet I took with the FK9.
Also, I wasn’t well enough prepared to know which landmarks to look for. So I actually went a little of course as I overcorrected for winds which seemed stronger than planned (they were, I used surface winds).
Very interesting, just like my last flight, I was flying in clear and calm weather (see screenshot), until I decided to touch my rudden (I normally don’t except for take-off since I don’t have pedals). And as soon as I did that, I was violently transported into the actual storm that is sweeping over Europe.
But, ended up in EBSH fine, saved the flight and will continue from there next time.

Got Neofly and wow do I love this! I think with the whole world available to fly in I get overloaded and uninspired to choose a flight. Neofly kind of simplifies the flight decision making and is giving me more opportunity to see things I wouldn’t have chosen otherwise.
I also really like the bush trips, but this is way better in many ways.
Hi yes. I don’t use that. Use free look and hold down LB+Left stick to move forward to look at instruments. Often the aircraft deviates from following NAV track if looking at instruments or FMC. Dont know why.

Was tempted in the past, but seeing BA will be absent plus the faff of months waiting, it has fallen out of consideration for me, unless there is a sale.
Must give Bredok credit for being commercially expeditious, not everyone will wait forever, especially in aviation.

I took the Flying Iron P-38L on a 440+ mile, 2 hour 25 minute flight across the southern edge of the Appalachian Mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina (KCLT) to Memphis, Tennessee (KMEM), passing north of Chattanooga and then along the southern length of Tennessee all the way to Memphis. The weather was gorgeous, matching “live weather” today perfectly, with some nice chop flying over the mountains at 11,000’ MSL.
Made it to the Grand Canyon in Fs2020 in the twin otter keeping up with the American truck simulator routes theme I’m hoping to fly to Kingman Arizona next
