How did you get a sectional VFR map in VR? Iâve searched everywhere for a Skyvector app but no luck. Had to go back to TrackIR to get my dose of VFR.
Your bandwidth is to low msg and didnt give me an option it just put me offline, switched back on and continued on my route and though I was something strange so I add some daylight,.,OMG the war has started ⊠between PG and Bing data:

I do love a game that is consistent, and this one is getting consistently worseâŠ
I downloaded the charts as PDF from the FAA, reduced the size as good as possible and use the PDF Viewer from flightsimulator.me to show them in game. Unfortunately it doesnât work that great because even with file sizes of around 10MB every time I move the chart or scroll in/out the screen in my VR headset goes black for a short time (< 1 s).
Leg 7 of my coast-to-coast US Highway 40 flight:
East Kansas City K3GV, MO - Greenville Airport KGRE, IL approx. 235nm
A nice and uneventful flight. Departed East Kansas in fairly good weather. Cloud cover was broken at roughly 5500 feet, which posed no problem for the flight. Winds were stiff at take-off but changed to a nice tailwind at around 4000 feet altitude. The first 90 or so nautical miles the US40 runs more or less in a straight line between Kansas City and Columbia. The only really exciting thing was flying a long the Missouri River for a short distance. From Columbia to St. Louis the state of the US40 doesnât change much and I enjoyed cruising above the Interior Plains making my way east.
I decided to avoid St. Louis class B airspace and flew around the city to the south, crossing both the Missouri River and the Mississippi River, before crossing into Illinois and joining back up with the US40 shortly before landing at Greenville, a short hop north of Carlyle Lake.

Did you try to land the airplane on the track? I tried it and was surprised at how narrow the track was. I mean it makes sense but when you see such a big racetrack you donât realize how thin the actual roadway part is until you are up close.
A little late but my Yosemite tour and my first finding of wildlife. Black Bears. I wish he smacked my 172 around a bit. In reality they would run away of course (actually be hibernating) unless they are in my walnut tree. Then they get angry when you bug them.

I flew the Beechcraft Baron G58 from Topeka Regional, Kansas, to Eppley Field, Nebraska. I have finally figured out how to load the arrival and approach (ILS) in the G1000nxi and had a smooth landing.
Seems that Asobo still hasnât fix the Yosemite POIs. Can remember that this has been reported a looong time ago.
So there I am flying along in Northern Ukraine, when an su27 goes zipping by me, so I watch him fly off and pull up, guess heâs gonna make another pass:

I pulled up into stall and he wooshed right past me, I then recovered and landed in a field, and hid on the edge of the tree line, waited for about 10 min to see if heâd return but I guess not.
This was not staged and I must say was one of the best times Ive had in the sim to date ROFL!!!
Decided to learn how to create my hometown photogrammetry scenery this morning and Iâm already good to go 
This is Gatineau, QuĂ©bec, 5 minutes from Ottawa. Ottawa is already a photogrammetry region but it stops before my neighborhood. Having shivers flying above all this new detailed scenery !!! You can see the paper factory by the Outaouais river just across CYRO (Rockliffe airport). Iâll try to give it some love to fix some gaps issues and maybe share it on flightsim.
I should have done it before. Not too complicated to do with the available tools.
Landed at San Diego in the Twin Otter going to Denver tonight using the CRJ 550 (just to get used to jets again)
Did a flight in the FK9 that I want to do IRL (EBZH - EBZH via Antwerpen - Gent - Antwerpen) somewhere later this year. Noticed the Live Weather isnât broken if you start the flight before 23:00 UTC.
Flight there (west bound) was SLOW (120 km/h), but East Bound was fast (220 km/h). Apparently thereâs some wind in Europe?
Anyway, this was a nice flight, everything worked well.
119 nm, 1 hr 17. Thatâs enough hand flying

Home sweet home.
As additional stuff, I pretended to be talking to ATC and also tried out my Sky Demon connector which apparently works well.
After a few days flying the P-38 Lightning, I needed a little refamiliarization with the Corsair. Such a fun plane to fly!

If you could get Dallas Tx, the 9th most populated city in USA, home of the 4th most used airport in the world, I am sure you would get a bunch of downloads being that 49 of the top 50 most populated US cities all have photogrammetry except that one.
How long did it take you to do that?
Honestly , not too long, about 1-2 hours.But my town is not as big as Dallas and Iâve only done a chunk of it. That being said , the process is easy to do the whole city, but itâs more about dealing with gaps between tiles and elevation discrepancies. But all in all, itâs pretty straight forward.
1 - select a big square with the Google earth decoder
2- import in Blender to create the scenery project.
3- open that scenery project in MSFS dev mode and make adjustments

But to make it perfect and shareable is where the time come into play I think⊠adjusting colors , gaps, elevation and so on âŠ
You can have multiplayer on but just go to (esc) general, traffic, and turn off nameplates that way you wonât have a bunch of usernames showing up in your video but you still get the live traffic of the aircraft people are flying.
Time is not an issue with me. I literally play this sim on a daily basis for multiple hours a day.
But where stuff like this perhaps is 2nd nature to you, it is very foreign to me and I am a visual person who would need to watch a youtube video and pause it several times, as well as more than likely call up a friend to let him know I still am stumped lol
