What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

Why don’t you use an external image uploader like imgbb.com and copy/paste the links instead of using the internal one?

Yodel-Ay-Ee-Oooo!

Stalled and crashed on landing.. looking for the runway and lost track of my RPMs. Funny how my confidence took a hit from a video game.

I wish Neofly would keep Pilatus in stock at Buochs lol!

Trip to Mount Etna in the FK9, LILQ to LIRJ. Still good weather and easy navigation.

Photo Book

Ready again, here we see the Toolbar is available on a Load Flight. I am extremely proud of finding out how to get it back.

As a learning excercise, I modified the white-band on the ISA to match the FK9’s POH.

Here we see Viareggio

This is the river Serchio

In the distance, my destination appears: Elba with Aeroporto di Marina di Campo. So I’ll just point my nose there …

And here we are

Parked!

My fifth flight and after a bunch of youtubes it was probably the best I’ve done. KEDW-KINS, via the Mexican border…

but you have to get used to it needing a lot of speed when landing, even at full flaps… she’s really spectacular. very hands on. AP is crude at best.

Well if you’re serious that’s just another player name tag.

I decided to challenge myself and took a flight from FAOB to FAAF, which is just over a kilometer and though official records state less than that, it still does not mean I would be able to succeed. I managed to land on the first try, but then needed a second attempt to take off as on the first go the trees hit my landing gears.

As FAAF seems like the southernmost airport that I could use with my Albatros I started the second half of my African tour, to the East then North. The first leg turned out to be FAAF to FAMO. hough clouds were rather low, it was a refreshing flight.

Las Vegas to Acapulco! In what has become as rare as a three-legged ballerina, we had NO photogrammetry warnings AND we kept Azure voices for our entire 3h1m flight from Las Vegas, NV (KLAS) to Acapulco, Mexico (MMAA). Warm and a bit windy on landing, but we shot the ILS to runway 28 and the sim was behaving nicely today. Welcome to Acapulco!

Recreated the fatal flights of Brittney Infanger and Cinnamon Franklin (Youtube: Blancolirio or Dan Gryder). Without modern avionics i got lost as much as Brittney did but with Garmin and synthetic vision it was super simple even in bad conditions. Synth vision should become standard or even mandatory in commercial aviation. It may be expensive but it’s a true lifesaver.
