On my next leg, I should make it to LICR (Reggio Caabria Airfield), and the leg after that will be a tour around Mount Etna and landing at LICC Catania / Fontanarossa. Where I’ll finally switch to flying that Turbo Arrow III I bought. It’s been fun with the FK9, but I’d like to fly more in other stuff (Arrow and the CJ4).

Flight planning, I didn’t exactly. Just follow the coast to the next airfield. Beautiful evening flight, is the plan:
Checking the METAR for my destination, it showed overcast 3000 ft and “light rain”. Not a fan of the METAR based weather, but I probably should’ve checked … know that METAR is spot-on in MSFS.

A short flight from Hodespruit (FAHS) to Madimbo (Z26Z). I couldn’t find much about this Madimbo airport, my hunch is that it is a not a civilian one, but luckily MFS is tolerant of such landings.
I passed a nice location on the way, so here’s a shot:
Did only my second flight to Phoenix since I started using the sim. I took a flight in the A320neo from LAX to Phoenix KPHX. Lovely clear skies all the way. Was nice seeing Phoenix, Scottsdale and the surrounding areas from a different angle. My first flight to Phoenix was from Las Vegas to KPHX. The photo was from my Vegas fight but I sometimes forget it’s just a sim when the quality is this good (series x photo)
So, on this flight, I tested out using the hoist and new and old sceneries. Spanish helped with a pick-up and the Yanks accommodated with patient delivery. Did a brief leg-stretcher at Weymouth. Then, off to a camper spot on Lundy Island. Finished at Mawgan. Cheers!
There were a lot of hoops to jump through and a lot of patience required while the PMDG servers were crashing, but at least the crashing servers and hoops weren’t on fire. This thing is amazing, folks. I spent an hour or more just learning the cockpit layout and playing with the FMC. I will fly a “delivery flight” tomorrow after work.
Yea unfortunately site still doesn’t have the buy now button as PMDG servers are still belly up. Nice images though glad you’re loving it. Brings me back to FSX days
