Fictitious Tour De France contract for my Air Hauler 2 career / company.
Flew from Zurich to Copenhagen at the weekend, ready for the end of Stage 3.
Tonight flew from Copenhagen to Calais with 5 pax aboard (today is TDF rest day) ready for Stage 4 tomorrow, Dunkirk to Calais.
From here on will be a variety of different aircraft, all GA and some helicopters to follow the routes, stage by stage, taking cargo / pax as part of the contract to support the team(s).
At least its an interesting way to make some money in AH2 and see some locations I wouldn’t normally bother with!

Practiced heli landings on moving helipad (support vessel for moving aircraft carrier).
got into the F-15 update - yup, took this long - and flew from EGUL to EGOV. Over the Dales, soared to FL 400, raced down to NOE again over Monty’s Longmeadow, buzzed the RN, even did the Mach Loop a few times; having little experience and it being a tight spot at over 500 knots, I could not see the campers on the slope… Cheers!
Getting the hang of the A320 somewhat. Flew from EBOS (Oostende, Belgium) to EINN (Shannon, Ireland), because EINN was an airport with some weather.
Discovered a few things:
- Even though transition level was lower, ATC had me already on local QNH, so as I was at FL100, it insisted I expedite my climb. I then switched from STD to local QNH and descended 200 extra ft, then it was happy …
- I like how ATC waits long to approve my descent requests and then when I get to do it it immediately starts asking me to expedite
- I have the impression that as soon as your aircraft gets contrails, that every aircraft (even low on final to an airport below you) will also get contrails:

Somehow, I even taxi’d to the gate, but looks like my passenger thingy is a little too short. But it’s not THAT big of a jump …

Just finished my new Cessna 414 Chancellor overhaul. This time it´s true to the core exactly based on the Flysimware C414 original - but with all textures carefully overhauled, seats matching perfectly with the beige original Flysimware curtains, and pearlescent shine on all the white elements.
The wood being on one side wood but on the other side black on this barkeeper automat or whatever it is, is now also fixed with wooden elements on both sides to the left and the right of the now COCA COLA ™ cups.
To honor the best and highest quality GA twin-prop ever made for any flight simulator in the history of flight simulation.
