lol, you wouldn’t want a real pilot falling asleep the way some of us do in the sim.
That’s a lovely shot. And a long enough final to radio ahead to get someone to put the coffee on.
Wind was about 250° 8 kts gusting 16kts so I had no time for a coffee.
208 was not much of a 4-wheeler, huh?
Flew the F/A-18E over Oshkosh. I REALLY wish Microsoft would add a Blue Angels livery. I’m an Xbox user so I don’t have access to the ones available.
I don’t think I can make it to Oshkosh this year. I’ve attended more than 25 Airventures, but haven’t been back in over a decade. Looking to fly in one of these upcoming years! So a virtual visit instead, but it’s just not the same without the constant background drone of the Bell 47’s and loudspeaker announcers, and that relentless July sun.
I flew the Stearman out of Pioneer Airport (WS17 is a grass strip just west of the KOSH tower) and then practiced some short, soft field landings at the ultralight strip. I’m definitely not winning the STOL competition!
It’s been half a decade for me. Really considering going up for the day this weekend, but if not at least it’s fun watching the webcams and airshow broadcast.
actually I was going to roll over it since on approach it only looked like an anthill, but once on the ground, it was apparent it was alot taller then I first thought, and well I actually wanted credit for that flight ;p
Flew the PMDG DC6B from Genesee county to Oshkosh, I flew the dc6 because we don’t have a study level b17 yet
Haven’t flown in the Santiago area since FSX days. MSFS 2020 scenery is far superior, but I forgot how foggy the area can be this time of year. This was my third attempt getting out of SCEL as lag made things unmanageable. Why here? All the mods (helipads) and the latinvfr are up to date. Did a long flight up to the Droide’s telescopes, with tolerable lag - SCEL-SCLL (Vallenar). Default terrain looked nice, but South America needs the love Europe and Japan have got. Lag got worse at the final airport so could not land where I wanted. Growing pains.
