About to do my first ocean hop in MSFS. Going from Oakland to Honolulu. Doing this more so as a way to see what the weather is like over ocean areas and away from reporting stations. Also doing this while it’s light out instead of when it’s dark to better see the results.

Flew in an FA/18 in LAX trying to escort planes as they took off-didn’t work as well as I thought!
Then I did a flight KDTW-CYYZ in a C700!

Dark and over ocean can be pretty dull, but the stars are nice if the clouds are missing. The constellations seem to be in the right place and moving correctly over time.

Yeah, I have found overall that the night is pretty pitch black unless over or around cities and viewing any kind of weather even if I have the lights off in the cockpit and in my room that it’s still hard to make out anything unless I am directly next to it. Asobo has said that they used a star map so that every position of the stars and constellations are exactly where they should be.
I don’t know what everybody’s talking about, my frame rates are great! (Got FSII up and running on the old Atari. 
Just gotta clean those key contacts so I don’t, uh, crash so much.)

While playing FSE with paying customers aboard, I did the Mach Loop in my TBM on a trip from EGOD to EGLL Because you can’t go to EGOD and NOT do the Mach Loop.

been on a maverick kick lately (still haven’t seen the new one though) so i’ve been doing tower fly bys followed by an extreme climb with a turn, a couple barrel rolls, then a split s for a speedy touch n go. super fun. anyhoo, here’s a link to a video of me doing a touch n go on some weird beach strip.

Made some turns above the old Quito airport (SEQU). A little bit disappointed about this default scenery.
