Flew the USCG add-on livery for the Great Lakes, but realized that I could do not sea rescues - livery only works with the HEMS and the sea rescue mod only works with the Off-shore model. Ah, learning experiences. First time in Detroit, flew to see how Fort Drum has been updated. Great weather, but the haze - those Canadian wildfires still affecting air quality.

More A2A Comanche time, from KPAE to Anacortes 74S, a quick San Juan circle over Orcas, then back again. I managed to stay above the class C airspace for Whidbey almost the whole time!

Clearing turns feel real good today. It’s the simple things.

Swell view of everything on a gorgeous day in the Pacific Northwest! This is a good office.

Back on the ground at KPAE. I’ll have to check the configuration tablet to see if I screwed anything up.

I’m adding the Comanche to my list of “secret sauce” airplanes. Because this plane has tha secret sauce for sure. I love my new aerial buddy!

I’ve been reinstalling windows and consequently all related stuff for days on now, finally got to the point to do a test flight in MSFS today:

Sadly I wasn’t smart enough to take a few screenshots of my ingame settings, so I was more concentrating on tuneing the video settings than to fly the plane.

Soaked-up the views from one of my favorite scenic “hops”, between Oban and Islay, Scotland.

The Oban scenery is very nostalgic - one of the first Scottish helipads I flew when folks started making them for us, back when. It really is detailed. I’ll have to look into Islay.

Had a much more interesting time in Maunalua Bay. Hopefully, someday, someone will make a proper USCG station at Kalaeloa Airport. Anywhoo, using the right 145 type, I could use the Ponyboy mod to have a dramatic rescue. After finishing that mission, I decided to land and finish on the moving Coast Guard cutter at Sunset. Aloha.

Inibuilds P40 from Elmira to KELZ due to a building storm my NOAA weather radio went off while in flight so I was hitting every switch in the cockpit before realizing it was my NOAA weather radio alerting me about the huge storm so I landed at KELZ

Flew from New Orleans to Fiji in the PMDG 737-700 BBJ. A 10+ hour flight. A lot of this flight was over water but once I arrived to the island it was beautiful.
