The FSNav/Voyager Alpine trip from Innsbruck to near Nice in the DA NG
Edging towards Yellowstone Park from Rapid City Regional (KRAP) to Sheridan County Airport (KSHR).
As the weather was just too nice, I switched to the Storm preset and flew IFR
It was quite clear at Sheridan, but had a 30kn crosswind, so landing was quite exciting. I managed to land, but not very nice, even bounced off once ![]()
Great 7 hour flight from Teterboro, NJ (KTEB) to Milan, Italy (LIMC) - at 3472nm range, the absolute LIMIT for the Longitude, but we had favorable winds crossing the Atlantic and made the journey with time to spare! Great views of Manhattan on climbout from KTEB. Flew at FL430, shot the ILS to runway 17L-Z and landed about 4:30AM. Welcome to Italy!
I randomly selected a state in the U.S., and I’m flying to every public, and private use airport in that state, using just pilotage in the analog Cessna Skyhawk. No GPS, no VOR, no NDB; just the 'ol Mark1 Eyeball, and a sectional chart. Using live weather. Only concession is daylight hours, because most private, and public turf strips have no lights. Started this weekend, and it’s very fun.
I tried to find keybindings for the Choke.
Found out there arent any. Was disappointed and left.
My son and I headed for Nikko in a welfare vehicle.
We proceeded up the Iroha slope to Lake Chuzenji, where the autumn leaves were in full bloom.
On the way, we went down to the lakeside and used a suction device to suction the patient.
Early morning Nice (LFMN) to Gibraltar (LXGB) flight in the ACJ319.
Flew the Cessna CJ4 longitude Rochester to My testing ground of Beaver Island Michigan as for someone who will never own a Citation CJ4 longitude what is that bottle 1 armed mean?
Tried the trial version of FSRealistic. Switched to storm and…yes, that was interesting… ![]()
I’m currently high above the Atlantic in the dead of night doing mach 2.04 taking a Concorde from Barbados to Manchester. Took off in the late afternoon, but travelling supersonic towards the northeast soon left the sun far behind me.
Looking at a map, I’m about equal distance between Bermuda to the west and the Canaries to the East. The Azores will be coming up ahead at some point.
I have the FSLTL traffic injector running, but it’s a lonely sky this far out over the ocean in the dead of night.
UPDATE: I really give up with this Concorde. No matter what I do, it just will not capture the ILS. Which isn’t great when you arrive at your destination at night and the live weather is extremely poor conditions. I’m probably going to just uninstall it.
Completed my tour of American Airlines hubs.
KPHL-KDFW-KDCA
This was the week, two years ago, that I got the new Alienware and loaded up MSFS 2020… and, then, all those Halloween antics. Happy anniversary week to me! As I had not started using mods from flightsim.to (where the heck did they come from? - but I’m glad they did) the first flights were unadulterated. I was amazed at how good my high school looked - and still does - but I could not wait for KBUR to come along - that, itself has been an adventure. Then, the jack-o-lantern challenge - booooooooooooo (read as a fake ghost), the week, for me, ended with a tour around Tokyo and it was anything but disappointing - of course, mods made all this even better. The real breakthrough has been how I have enough performance to fly London, Tokyo, LA - when P3D/FSX would have most likely shut me down. Thanks Asobo! Cheers and on to November’s outpour
!
Flew the Cessna citation longitude from Sydney to Canberra. Also did the 5th leg of the Alaskan bush trip.
Flew the PC12 on a island supply run from Beaver island to KCIU and back to Beaver
Flew in a PC6 (not the one with the glass cockpit) on a Cargo Delivery in Canada-forgot my takeoff airport already
but I landed at Toronto City Center.
There is something about that plane that I love very much…just can’t identify it yet!
