FL180 is the standard transition level in the US but I’ve also noticed it lazily appplied to other parts of the world in flight sim

Drove my new AMX 10-RC from Wick to Golspie in Scotland 
I was actually surprised how little I had to slew myself out of terrain on this trip! Some bridges were impassable and there were two holes in the road between Wick and Golspie but otherwise it was kinda smooth sailing. I even learned something new - if you want to minimize the risk of getting yeeted across the landscape when crossing a bridge, you have to drive veeeery slowly across. Somehow that solves 9/10 bridge glitches.
Anyway, here are some shots I took. It is quite relaxing to drive this beauty once I modified my joystick control scheme for it!

Did two short flights today the first with the Friday Fly In events ending in Paris I decided to take a quick trip around Paris and check the sights:
The second I couldn’t help but goto Baltimore, I’m sure upon reading this if you’ve seen the latest headlines you can kind of guess why. I thought I would fly by that bridge and check it out, I wonder if they’ll update it at some point

Focusing on places I’ve visited to mix it up.
Hit up Crater Lake, Oregon. Took the COWS DA42 TDI.
Left Tacoma Narrows Airport (KITW) which is south of Seattle and great views.
Landed at Crater Lake - Klamath Regional Airport (KLMT).
Some serious turbulence near Crater Lake, saw drops of 400 feet a few times. Most stayed at 9,000 feet and IFR, but when I got close the lake I took over and flew around a bit for some sight seeing.
Rough landing, but I blame my rudder set-up (moving around on the ground, need to brace somehow - easy fix).

Challenged myself in the At-6 and all went well until the landing. Bounced and did a go-around. Remembered something vague about holding the stick back, second attempt was better, but… Santa Anna to Oceanside by way of Palm Springs and Borrego.

Decided on a change of pace and took the Pipstrel Virus to a sightseeing tour around Budapest. It was nice to see that not only landmarks like the Parliament or bridges, but mundane apartment blocks aren’t AI models, but actual photogrammetry.
