Leg 5 of the Baltic bush-trip in WB-Sim C172 in real weather: EKKS :airplane: ESMK
I moved from Denmark to Sweden on this leg. Nice VMC conditions. Clear sky. Also wind was not strong only 15kn headwind.

Bosjökloster castle:

Then I did few circuits in Sting S4 that got updated. Finally it has correct gross weight 600kg. So I can take more fuel and some baggage. Also it got new Garmin G3X.

Early this morning I flew from Toronto to San Diego
No real reason for the flight just randomly thought of since I fly on Xbox and can’t use the cool addons that you folks use to generate random flights

On top of that I am proud to finally be a member of the 500 club, yes during this flight I have logged 500 flight hours in the game
I never thought I would reach such a milestone.

With not knowing where people prefer to view things, I shall link to both Twitch and YouTube and you can view your own preference.

Keep that CH stick for use as helicopter cyclic. If its like the one I have you can release the springs by just moving a slider on each axis. For helicopter I use two such sticks, the second one does collective and tail rotor. All springs must be released for use with helicopters.

In the Cessna C172sp-Classic i found this hand/fingerprints on the co pilot rightdown corner side window next some scratches which i find a very nice detail given that it is only seen at certain reflective and weather conditions.

Lost the CH stick over a decade ago. This was the yoke I replaced.

today I took off from MUCC, visited briefly our unfamous “wombat island” wich look different than last time I found this place for the “guess where ?” thread.

In fact the whole travel and cuba island looked better than last time I visited cuba, thanks god they fixed water masking since then

I also took the C208 ealier in the day to fly from YCAR to YPPD

Aratika to Anaa. Made more interesting by obtaining the Black Square mod. Wish Simbrief would see these small airports so I can use BeyondATC.

Got a great calm flight from Berlin Brandenburg (EDDB) to Turku (EFTU) in the Citation Longitude on Vatsim:

Though there was hardly any traffic I was lucky enough to have ATC at both ends of the flight. Also a big thank you for Helsinki control who stayed online until he could hand me over to Turku tower even though he was busy telling everyone else he’s going offline  I was also pleasantly surprised to have Turku tower staffed when I was handed over, because I checked the vatsim map on descent and then it was not there.

Finally got my hands on the Black Square Beech Duke after following its development for many months. Safe to say it was just like being reacquainted with an old friend, especially with the Real Air livery from flightsim.to.

Shakedown flight was NZPM to NZNR, in full IMC conditions, only visual with the runway lead in lights at minimums!

After the morning flight in the Duke, I swapped into the Fenix A320 for the afternoon and took a flight from Poretta to Venice with the intention of deliberately going around and flying the missed approach after watching some tutorials.

The first attempt was a little messy, as I accidently dropped out the FD and the aircraft reverted to a HDG/VS climb after hitting TOGA, so after linking the missed approach track back to the beginning of the ILS for 04R, I made a second low level go around with the FMA’s showing MAN TOGA SRS NAV, and the aircraft seamlessly followed the FMS guidance.

There was some pretty inclement weather making its way towards Venice, so I put the aircraft down on the runway after the third approach, not long after a master caution for low fuel had popped up. Great fun to be able to do this after a few years flying the FBW and not being able to sequence the missed approach!
