Buzzed around in the Cowan Sim Bell 206. Absolutely love this thing. Left Mirmar and literally got lost as hadn’t set a flight plan up. Was really fun nonetheless.
Continuing my west coast travels on a flight from San Francisco to Portland in the CRJ-700. It was a beautiful morning departure with some busy skies enroute thanks to FSLTL.
Flew a Dublin (EIDW) to London City (EGLC) in the HondaJEt
And took the DA62 to a short ride from Pécs-Pogány (LHPP) to Klisa Osijek (LDOS)
Both landings were pretty sub par, feels like I’m getting worse
What aircraft is that?
The Bombardier Global 6000. You can get the freeware on flightsim.to.
It is an FSX conversion. Flies well enough for my purposes.
After the historic flights of the Bleriot, across the Channel and across the Alps, the next of my famous historic flights is - me on my first ever flight aged 11 in a Cessna (I think) around Blackpool Tower on a pleasure trip. (The detail around this area is really good, the pleasure beach is behind where I am). That’s Central Pier in the foreground with the Big Wheel on.
Did this one in the Curtiss Jenny. A mere five years after the Bleriot, huge advances seem to have been made. This bird has ailerons and trim, I can trim it out! take my hand off the stick and chill out. Still got no tail wheel and no flaps and a 90 hp engine - not quite double the Bleriot - this made getting airborne long and slow …. that Par 5 on the local course looks good, or the M1!
Nice plane to fly just very slow on the turns. Only difficulty is seeing the runway over the engine for landing, no chance. After a happy hour googling I discovered the arrow keys!
Now my list of peripherals are: stick; mouse; Xbox controller (I use it for the drone on the pc) and …. Keyboard. Currently searching for a bigger desk.
Took another trip to London City (EGLC) but this time from Geneva (LSGG)
I had a really beautyfull sunset flight, it was really hard to stop taking screenshots, Microsoft/Asobo really did a very good job and my hardware is not even close to top tier
There was quite some traffic around London, luckily not for LC but to different airports. London South control still had his hands full
I had to go around on first try, I was too occupied with the charts, to properly monitor the approach and came in way too fast. On the second try the autopilot got confused because of the go around and was not willing to take the glidepath, so I did the approach on manual, which went pretty okay, but the actual wheels down wasn’t very smooth.
I feel like I’m actually getting worse despite the time I put into MSFS in the past week. Even worse, my week off is ending today, tomorrow it’s back to the grind…
I redid the Aspen (KASE) to Telluride (KTEX) flight from yesterday, but this time with the HondaJet. There was no sense in recording the whole flight, so I only made a video of the landing, which was quite acceptable this time:
A very poor attempt in the Salty 747 to replicate the flight of the last production plane. I took it a little too fast
Better than the other way around
Imagine if it was you who had to wait for all the turbine wakes to get clearance…
I do not think that’s too bad, afterall you cannot really make very sharp turns with a jumbo
My first helicopter flight. I adjusted the joystick commands to control everything, but later discovered that helicopter has assistance by default. A nice panoramic flight from SBBI (with lucassg scenery), though.
Taking off.
Looking around.
Admiring the Botanical Garden of Curitiba (Brazil).
Approaching.
Shut down after a not so easy taxiing.
Flew the Jamaican milk run. Kingston to Port Antonio to Ocho Rios to Montego Bay and back to Kingston.
Took the PMDG Boeing 737 700 from Orlando to Dallas Love field as Southwest (I can go even further southwest flights if they release the 800 & 900 variants on the marketplace)

Had a beautiful flight over the South China Sea descending into Hong Kong for the famous Kai Tak Checkerboard Approach.
