What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 3)

Fs2020

Melbourne (KMLB) to Atlanta (KATL) in the PMDG 737 900ER

CU12 Sightseeing in the Eurocopter EC135. This time from Diako Ev. Diakonie-Hospital (ED6QH) to Stade Nuclear Power Plant (EDTSQ)

I was expecting Diako Ev. Diakonie-Hospital (ED6QH) to be some massive building with a pad on the roof. Nope:

Bremen city center:

Hamburg suburbia:

I was expecting Stade Nuclear Power Plant (EDTSQ)l (ED6QH) to be some massive building with a pad on the roof. Nope:

I’m finding it easier to come in at an angle for a landing than a straight-in approach. Much better visibility out the side window:

Still missed the little triangle, though not by much!

Took the iFly MAX-8 out for a spin from KSMF to KLAX. Beautiful clear day, but very busy traffic coming into LA!

Saved some lives in Wallis today.

su3 Germ test

2020, Channel flight, Friston to Lille to Calais and back to Friston. Mark I controllers reset. Again, surprised at how easier it was to take off and land after all those Keystone Cops moments three years ago…

MH-60T from KJFK to KFMH

Departed JKFK bound for VHHH Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific 831. Expecting about 15 hours 15 min flight time, see you tomorrow for landing

Back in fs2024

Atlanta (KATL) to Charlotte (KCLT) in the default 737 max 8

Exploring CU12 Dresden & the surrounding area in the Eurocopter. Departing Elbland Hospital Meien (ED8IF) we head down the river to the city center (pics here) where I decided to try my luck in landing in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium:

Keeping the stadium in view out of the co-pilot side:

Landing was actually very easy:

I then followed the Elbe river east:

Past the Bastei POI:

Into the Czech Republic:

This is the coal mine at Lom Bilina:

Then back into Germany:

For a alanding at Heinrich Braun Clinic (EDD2H) in Zwickau:

Landed on the “X” this time. The nice thing about these hospital helipads is that if you mess up your landing, help is immediately on hand

Total flight time was 1hr 33 minutes

My UK & Ireland Tour

Another two flights this afternoon. Crumlin Airport to Newtownards / Newtownards to Andreas Airfield as I said goodbye to Ireland and Northern Ireland and hello to the Isle of Man.

Weather improved as I made my way out of Crumlin.

Flying over Divis and Black Mountain with Belfast City in the background.

Goodbye Ireland and Northern Ireland! It’s been great. Some of my favourite flights yet!

Hello Isle of Man! The Manx Hills in the distance.

Stretching my legs on the Isle of Man, taking in the scenery.

Memphis (KMEM) to Nashville (KBNA) in the default 737 Max 8

2020, Took the new (at least for me) Phantom for a trial, featuring a couple passes of the Mach Loop - I still need to get used to that pattern as well, especial at 400 kts plus. Then, off to a museum parking at Coningsby. Started from RAF Valley.
