What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 3)

Not a direct flight, what can I say I miss the AutoPilot AI

KTTS → KSEM → KJFK (then changing up to a bi-plane)

Had to borrow some footwear from a famous man who I heard could walk on water.

I don’t know where I was for the one picture but it just struck me as a nice photo.

2020, final flight of the AH Mustang - really a sad model (even with the fuel pump on, the plane, having plenty of fuel on arrival at destination, conked out). Bottisham to Arras, back to Bottisham. I usually don’t give up on a plane, but AH has made a disappointment here.

Had a lovely joyride in the DC-3.

Early morning flight from Thamkharka airport in eastern Nepal with the Avro Anson Mk.1

Taplejung Airport, elev. 7936 ft.

My UK & Ireland Tour

Another two flights that I forgot to put on yesterday. Denham to Bicester Airfield / Bicester Airfield to Birmingham Airport. I’ve avoided major airports however wanted to add the nearest one to me.

Taking off from Denham.

Flying over High Wycombe with the Chiltern Hills ahead.

Coming into land at Bicester Airfield.

Taking off from Bicester Airfield.

Flying over Banbury, the M40 alongside which I pretty much followed the whole way.

Warwick Castle in the background.

Coming in to land at Birmingham Airport.

My UK & Ireland Tour

Well, the final two trips of my tour is here. Birmingham Airport to Otherton Airfield / Otherton Airfield to Wolverhampton.

Flying over St Andrews, home of Birmingham City Football Club after taking off from Birmingham Airport.

Flying over the Bullring, Birmingham city centre.

Flying past Villa Park, home of Aston Villa Football Club.

Landing at Otherton Airfield, Cannock.

Taking off from Otherton Airfield.

Heading towards Wolverhampton.

Landing at Wolverhampton, a bit windy on landing!

That’s my tour complete. Really enjoyed it, think my favourite bit was Ireland. Now to have a bit of a think of where to go next…

Testing my PC upgrade - so far so good but it’s only the first flight with a small GA to an outback tiny airport. Finima in Nigeria.

Fs2020

PMDG 737 800 from North Eleuthera I (MYEH) to Charlotte (KCLT)

From Le Versoud (LFLG) to Munster Airport (LSPU), along the crest of the Alps.

Nice view of Chateau Nardent (1,217m) from the apron at Le Versoud:

Starting the slow climb to 13,000 ft.

Passing Mont Blanc:

and the Matterhorn:

before dropping down into the valley at Munster:

Parked on the apron. Winter appears to have arrived early this year:

[MSFS 2024 v1.6.5.0, BijanStudio Seasons Enhanced 2024 v3.1.1, live weather (historical)]

Didn’t fly, but was sitting at Billy Bishop Airport (Toronto, Ontario) I took two photos one in MSFS 2024 and one in 2020… The one with the city in complete darkness is 2024. I was fortunate to get the “Toronto Night Lights” addon a few years back as a “Christmas Gift”

Fs2020

Charlotte (KCLT) to Oklahoma City (KOKC) in the fs studios Embrear ERJ 170LR

Spent more time managing my library than flying today.

It’s the flight sim equivalent of RPG inventory management haha

It’s only get worse with my more 24 natives coming out too :rofl: I swear it’s a data exercise just to set the Sim up at times

2nd Test flight after my upgrades, Carthage to LEPA, Mallorca. So happy to be flying again without CTD’s and blue screens. On driver 581.15.

Hello,
yesterday I flew the leg 25 of my World Tour.
This time, instead of the Cessna 182 RG, I “rented” an AS 33 Me to cross from Guadalupe to Montserrat, since there is located the highest mountain in the lesser Antilles, La Grande Soufrière. Wind was favorable so I took the risk and made the almost 100km crossing.
Today I am heading to the United States Virgin Islands, once again with the C182 RG II.
