Had the same, had automatic searching for best channel 5Ghz on. Turned it off, just manually picking a channel and was steady afterwards.
I’ll give that a try thanks.
for me the Same since i turned off Hags it s solved. another Member mean teo me you have to turn off Low Latency when using HAgs on. I did had Time to test
Yes, mine isn’t dedicated, but nobody else uses the 6GHz band and it is only about 4-5ft from my head, so a dedicated router might have done more harm than good.
I don’t have a 6GHz router, so no experience with that. Maybe that’s the cause of the occasional loss of WiFi? Have you tried switching it to the 5GHz band just to test if that solves it?
Are you using motion reprojection? If yes, then switch it off, as I found it cured the problem I had with CTD when in VR. Sometimes it crashed as soon as I entered VR and other times it crashed within a few minutes.
I’ve tried the suggestion that @TiedAchiever990 has offered and see how that goes first, but the 5GHz band might be worth a try if it doesn’t solve the issue.
The problem with an issue that is so infrequent, is that I’ll possibly have a long wait to prove, or not, whether it has been fixed.
Another convert!
I think there is a distance to menu/glass instrument trade off, but the overall impact is startling.
Did you do the DLSS Tweaks F preset? Many of us have been wondering if it’s needed. I just lost the desire to fuss with it. I’m having more issues with the lenses in my Pimax Crystal now than I am with sim rendering clarity.
I wonder if the extra headroom lets DLSS AI algorithms go deeper?
You are absolutely free to disagree with me. I only explain what is documented and my experience, which has greatly improved by disabling it, both visually and in fluidity.. Although maybe you know more than the developer of OpenXR Toolkit, who knows…
Well you know, as long as I have the results I’m looking for, I don’t need to care if it’s supported or not. I discovered that something else was causing the issues I had, so I can say it’s not OpenXR Toolkit for me. Working perfectly!
Last I recall @mbucchia was stumped/curious why many people don’t have any problems while others do. It seems to be an either-or thing.
I’m still using it for dynamic foveated rendering and sometimes resolution override tweaking. I’ll dump it if I start getting crashes or performance problems.
Yep. What was also interesting is that he said OXRTK probably doesn’t work well with anything DX12, yet it has worked great with DX12 in 2020 for me for around 3 years!
It probably doesn’t work well enough for his standards.
I use OXRT for:
- resolution override/supersampling
- sunglasses
- Fixed Foveated Rendering (gives me 5% more FPS)
- minor color corrections (as MSFS2024 is too bright for me)
- FPS counter (if I need it, I keep it high at the top edge of my FoV)
Just had another go with OXRTK and another visit to DLSS, and again I got a CTD on my 3rd flight, furthermore DLSS still looks rubbish even with all the tweaks and resolution overrides
…This tbh…
I know the feeling!
By the way, do you have any idea why many of us are getting such good visuals running DLSS Performance with the F preset and no oversampling?
Hi, i’ve similar problem with VirtualDesktop but i using Pico4.
If my VR heardset is in pause mode and i’m return in active mode, sometime display freeze and i need to restart VD but doesn’t restart. The only way it’s to kill VD process in task manager and reload VD.
I’m not sur this issus is from FS24 because it’s same when using FS20 but a never find any information on this problem with VD streamer. I’m using version 1.33.3 but it’s same with older version.
It’s juste an information, sorry to don’t have a solution for this
What is this “F preset” you guys are talking about, and why haven’t I ever heard of it?
