No issues on my PC. It takes ~ the same time to reach the Welcome screen as in previous days.

I have two PCs.
One got through the Checking for Updates issue relatively quickly.
The other has been stuck for 15 minutes and counting. The stuck one has a very basic install of only the Premium Deluxe, WUs, CUs, Top Gun, Red Bull Challenge and nothing more.
Weird issue.
EDIT:
After sitting here for 25 minutes, I turned on Airplane mode and got this:
Clearly, it seems to think I have something to update, but canāt present it to me.
I turned off Airplane mode and clicked continue and the sim resumed a normal loading process.

Mine stalled at the āchecking for updatesā screen once today, shut it down via the Taskmanager, then restarted it successfully in āSafe Modeā. Every restart (3-4) in normal mode since then have been fine.
I have no idea why. Iām learning to just be more accepting of what it is.
BTW, after my C-Drive image restore to June 1st and accepting the MSFS advice to set my sim to āHighā performance settings the sim has NEVER run better!

Just curious about that. How long does it take, normally?
I timed mine a minute ago and it takes 00:01:30:0 to reach the Welcome screen.
Of course the only World Update I have installed is the USA.

I just started the sim and went to Content Manager. There are 4 updates available.
I got an error message when I tried to download World Update II: USA
āYou are currently offline, and cannot access the Marketplace.ā
I tried several times.
The others (CH47D, Dornier DO-31, Flow Essentials - Menu Wheel) all downloaded normally.
Then I successfully downloaded the WU.
Weirdnessā¦

When was the last time you started the sim?
I didnāt see an update to that WU yesterday and havenāt launched the sim, yet, today.

USA WU update came with the Vegas release.

Other than the SU15 and subsequent āAIRACā update, I canāt recall the last time I had any other updates. It must have been at least a month or so agoā¦
But I donāt have the CH47D, Dornier DO-31, or Flow Essentials in my sim, either.

Itās been several days at least.
My concern is that the intermittent disconnection issues are still there.
It definitely wasnāt a problem with my internet connection.

The Checking for Updates issue, for me, has been a real weird one.
Yesterday it was horrific, today it doesnāt exist.
Itās impossible to know what the underlying cause is and why it goes away.
Did they fix something? Is it random (however, it affects both my PCs with vastly different installs at the same time, so itās clearly server related)?

The really weird thing was the unresponsiveness of the software. It sometimes took up to 5 seconds for buttons to become active, and when clicked, the screen would go black for another 5 seconds. Iāve never seen that before, and havenāt changed anything in my hardware or software config.
It seems fine now - for nowā¦

I get this weird completely black screen lately when I go to the Content Manager to update product. Itās really strange. The first time I thought the sim had completely crashed.
What is that all about?

Back up hereā¦east USAā¦great performanceā¦0 issues 8hr flightā¦my sim habit now is to just wait it outā¦making no changes to anything has been the best for meā¦I have no server connection skillsā¦software, or tech input knowledge to the issue at handā¦itās for sure somewhere else other than my unchanged PC settingsā¦ mine reared itās head after a marketplace download purchaseā¦rebooted after downloadā¦BAMā¦MSFS signed on today as if a problem never existedā¦everything purchased is current in CMā¦changed nottaā¦nothingā¦go figureā¦itās odd for sureā¦Iām doing a complete Backup today for safe keepingsā¦Happy flying allā¦

Im getting stuck on āpress any button to continueā, I press any button over and over again and nothing happens. I have to press the Xbox button on the controller, exit out and restart the SIM again.
