I have not seen them say it was fixed in that patch.
I have seen them say they already have it fixed internally but we don’t yet have a public patch for it.

Hello @Pt6a27,
That issue is currently open and flagged as bug-logged. It was not mentioned as being fixed in the 1.2.7.0 release notes.
Thanks,
MSFS Team
Im just saying what ive read in the forum here. Im one of the victims with quite a few airports that are too bad to even fly because of the studders…i just hope it gets addressed
Is only for FlightPlaner, is not relate with FS24 game
Fenix is bugged AF …
I view the timing of future patches as almost irrelevant, as the game is in such an unfinished state, anything other than numerous patches over a long period of time is going to make much of an impression.
I found patch 3 to be detrimental to the overall user experience, so I hope the next patch will address that.
Sadly after several patches, it is the first game I have experienced where it remains easier to find bugs, than it is to gain achievements.
That reads like Feb 2025 earliest.
Can we have an ETA on when the fix is? Most of us can’t actually use the sim, what are we supposed to do over the holidays if it doesn’t get fixed?
Communication is needed.
We know there are lots of things to fix, some of which can be done without the need for patch, but…
How do we all know…
Can I suggest to Asobo / MS have a place on the forums dedicated to you posting (no replies) where you can keep up updated on all the fixes that are applied and when and the dates of large patches>
This could be a weekly thread
Good to communicate
You mean a bit like the blog that goes out at the end of every week? ![]()
I have the same opinion. The sheer size of that patch and number of fixes was extreme given the number of days between that patch release and the launch of MS24.
Without context on how long they were working on the fixes, MS/Asobo conditioned many to believe it took only days to triage, diagnose, design, code, qa, package into proper pipelines and release to the public.
As much as I hate the current state of MS24, I don’t expect to see meaningful changes this week at all. Given the holidays are next week, I don’t anticipate any patches next week or the following week (January) either.
What I do think would go a LONG way is communication from leadership. Tell us your patching plans for the next 30 days. Tell us what you’re doing different and what you learned from this embarrassing launch. Saying “we’re sorry” only goes so far. Telling us how you’re reacting to the situation, what’s changing, why you feel things will get better, etc. could go a long way towards rebuilding trust with the community.
All in all, I agree with you, but when it comes to communication, it’s a double-edged sword.
On the one hand, it would be really nice to see what’s planned and at least have a rough idea of how things will proceed. I don’t want to jump on the bandwagon and say that MSFS 2024 is only in alpha at the moment, but some sort of roadmap would be really nice.
On the other hand, I’ve seen it happen too often that this and that was promised and then, for whatever reason, what was said was not implemented and/or there were significant delays. Then the outcry from the community is understandably huge.
So at the moment they can only do it wrong, but not to comment at all would be the worst thing, I think.
But hey, I haven’t often seen a big studio/publisher apologize for a totally failed start either.
Well, let’s wait until the holiday season is over and see what happens…
IMO it was a wrong choice to release type of game in the holiday season. it’s not like call of duty or something that’s more or less one & done on a disc. now we have holidays for many weeks, thanksgiving thru early Jan. people out on vacation, and more. really cuts down on the ability to crank out fixes consistently and respond when you have multi day and week periods of lulls. they should’ve have originally planned to release in summer like 2020, or not have called it FS20204 & release it when ready. right now we’re on track for it to be FSMid2025
VR can wait - I’d like to be able to play it in basic form. HOTAS BINDINGS that “STICK” would be nice. They changed in career mode and I had no brakes. Why did they change WHAT WORKED IN 2020!
A blog about the 2020 marketplace and sometimes a leaderboard of wishlist items that tells us absolutely nothing about when the sim will work properly or when we can expect some sort of hot fix for issues caused in the last patch? That blog post…
Unfortunately, this is common practice for “entertainment software”.
Christmas is an incredibly profitable time to launch a product, and the initial sales are immense. It’s clear that management wants to take advantage of that. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter (these days) whether the product is finished or not.
I don’t blame the developers here. They probably knew that a lot more time was needed, but when they’re told that the sim still has to come out in 2024, there’s not much they can do.
It’s just an imbalance in the system that the developers and we consumers suffer from, but the shareholders are happy about the good numbers at the end of the year…
Well, I should stick to the topic. ![]()
It isn’t for me; been doing flights every day on it. It has a few bugs, particularly with lighting in the cockpit, but that’s far from “AF”
if that… one thing MSFS is well known for is taking a long time.
I disagree.
They screwed the pooch on this game. Terrible release. Now they need to put in the work to fix it. You don’t reward screwing up with vacation time. You make them put in the overtime to get things back on track.
