I think weather servers might have been jacked up this afternoon/evening. I was getting no weather ATIS messages (via the A320nx mod MCDU—which has been working great the last few days) and the time was even showing up wrong in the sim. I would click live on and off and it would always be 30 minutes behind.
Well… that might do the trick but how about the lag if I connect from Europe?
Would that be acceptable?
Isn’t there a recent thread on this concerning people like myself who after today’s update is not able to see other online players?
Late 2024, and I’m still asking me the same thing: Where are all the players. I’m in norhtern Europe but theres hardly any visible players at all. Do I need to go VATsim (not for me) to see more players? =? All players is on, no restrictions.
Yes, it’s quiet online right now. There are a few spots where there are always players, like around Seattle, but it’s not hard to find a quiet spot on the planet.
The most popular European server is probably the West Europe server. Make sure that you have “show traffic nameplates” “on” in the traffic settings.

I am starting to think my problem with the missing “Ready to Fly” button may be related to multiplayer. I very often don’t get the button, but Esc and restart works to bring the button back. I noticed this morning that multiplayer wasn’t working. I wasn’t getting any nameplates. Restarting the flight did not correct this problem. I use a button to toggle nameplates, so I wouldn’t even notice if multiplayer was down on most flights.
I sometimes get a delay of a few seconds before the FLY button become available. But I don’t think I’ve ever had it totally fail to appear.
It does not seems related to multiplayer. I have sometimes that issue too (I am not using multiplayer) and restarting the flight make it appears. There is an open report, even if it says VR in the title, many users reported it also happens in non VR:
