Which Aircraft are at the top of your wishlist for third-party devs to make?

Aaaah very good! Luckily I read a week ago or so that this one is coming for the sim.

Of course, I’m partial to one of these (still flying them IRL since 1998). What a great way to see the visuals of MSFS low and slow:

I often daydream that I have one of those IRL myself. My gosh that would be fun!

Yes, with animation of pilot run on take off and landing

MD-11 freighter for Xbox is all I need

I appreciate that this may be very unpopular with a number of people, but just wanted to ask anyway. Regarding types of planes/craft that can be created and added to the sim, is there any sort of restriction? What I mean to say is that, could a theoretical craft be added that may only exist fictionally if it were done tastefully?

There are already planes that are entirely fictional available for the sim. Who do you imagine is going to stop them, and how?

What I had in mind would possibly be considered slightly taboo with some of the community and appreciate that there are some very interesting things available on the PC side, I was primarily thinking of the in sim marketplace as I only have a Series X at the moment. I wasnt sure if Microsoft/Asobo would limit in any way the kind of vehicles allowed onto the in game marketplace.

My current list:

Twin Otter not by Aerosoft. I do not support a company that does not understand that copyright is not the same as trademark but insists to be correct. Hiring a lawyer who knows they’re talking about is not that hard.

  • AH-64 Apache
  • UH-60 Blackhawk
  • MH-6 Little Bird
  • CH-47 Chinook
  • B2 Spirit
  • C-17 Galaxy
  • E3-AWACS
  • KC130 Tanker
  • C130 Hercules

Basically 3 whole airlines fleet’s as DLC that would be really practical for flying

1: Buffalo Airways DLC for some old classics

2: Denver Air Connection DLC to get their whole fleet for regional hopping

3: Era Alaska DLC
They flew awesome aircraft for bush flying

Yup! Study level TwinOtter would be great stuff. Unfortunately, it is not in development. At least I never heard about it.

I’d love to have these:

  • Cessna 177 Cardinal (and variants such as the retractable RG): This is such a beautiful plane, especially with that strutless, cantilevered wing and stretched, back-sloped windshield.
  • Cessna 337 Super Skymaster (and variants such as the turbo T337 and pressurized P337): This is a really unique twin, but I’d rather not get it from Carenado. Maybe another, more responsive, developer will make a 337 with a similarly great visual model, but also with systems accuracy/depth and regular updates.

So far it looks like no one is creating the gem of a plane. I had the B-314 since FS2004 all the way to FSX. Its my #1 Plane.

Well, I can cross this one off my list!

Why not " This Incredible Plane: Cessna 620"?

Apart from the study level A319 I would love to see some classic and nostalgic aircraft:
B727-100/200 (would be great to see that beauty with Dan Air or Pan Am-livery)
B737-200/300/400
B707
BAC 111

They were iconic aircraft when I was a child. To all those developers out there: If you bring them back to life and make them fly, I’ll buy!
