Yeah since they’re bringing native balloon support to MSFS 2024, why not powered rigid airships too? Would make for some fun “mooring on a windy day” missions
Would love to see the DA-50 RG or the eDA-40.
In general, any fully electrical aircraft with sufficiently realistic system depth would be interesting.
Grumman Duck…please.
hey - does the shape of this cowling look familiar??
I wonder what Big Radials is up to today…
Paul Domingue was working to bring his Duck to MFS, not sure of its status
You realize most of the time spent developing the Comanche was actually for Accu-Sim 2.0? Now that it’s completed, they can produce future planes on a much faster timeline.
I’ll believe it when I see it. We also don’t know that FS2024 won’t require another substantial rework of accu-sim.
MSFS2024 is still pretty much a ‘black bag’ to us…
Presumably with in-depth systems and fantastic visuals…
NAMC YS-11
Tupolev Tu-154B-2 (one, possibly two in development. Not sure if they’ll see release)
Consolidated PBY Catalina
Grumman TBM/TBF Avenger (one in development but likely 1+ years out)
Sopwith Pup (hoping a certain dev who did it for FSX/P3D brings it)
Sopwith Cuckoo
Eurocopter AS365N Dauphin II (MH-65 in dev, maybe for coming year)
Mil Mi-2 (on long-term roadmap for one dev, but likely years out if at all)
Mil Mi-8
Mil Mi-24V (maybe coming from one dev, but likely years out)
Dassault Falcon 50 (on roadmap for one dev, but not sure if anytime soon, likely not)
Who is working on Mi-8?
I searched for it, found only one not so good visually.
I was mistaken it was the modern version of the Mi-17, by Cera Simulations, but it seems they abandoned their efforts after a P3D release a year or so ago.
I’m new to this forum not best with suggestions to give my all time favourites are
1- BAC TSR2
2- AVRO Arrow CF-105
3- Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut (Forward Swept Wing Supersonic Aircraft)
4- Martinsyde Buzzard, Martinsyde was the Irish Air Corps first plane (With Irish livery below)
I hope maybe we’ll hear something about that from him soon, it was a good addon in FSX
I went through some of my previous posts and decided to update my full list.
T-7 Redhawk - Boeing-Saab’s new jet trainer. A trainer with afterburner? Sounds fun to me!
T-6 Texan - One of my favorite airplanes in real life are T-6’s. They looks good and sound GREAT. Of all the aircraft on my list, this might be the one I’d be most excited to see developed by a good developer. I have and enjoy the one Reno T-6 I own, but I want something of a higher quality. The Reno T-6’s lack features and have pretty underwhelming sounds. I’d like a higher quality, and of course a bunch of liveries to choose from.
P-51C with “By Request”, “Ina the Macon Belle”, & “Thunderbird” liveries. Just a cool aircraft that I’d love to add to my hangar.
MiG-17 - I’ve always enjoyed seeing MiG-17’s fly at Oshkosh and I would thoroughly enjoy one in the sim.
Jet Waco - I like vintage bi-planes and I like jets. Need I say more?
Bell 47 on Xbox.
B-25 - I know a lot of folks want bombers, especially the B-17, but I’d personally lean more towards wanting the B-25.
PT-22 - Just looks like a fun old military trainer, honestly.
Fokker Dr1 triplane - Vintage bi- and tri- planes are some of my favorites, so I’d love this. I know there’s a freeware one available, but I’m on Xbox, and from what I’ve seen it appears to be low-quality, at least visually.
This looks neat whatever it is. 13 August 2023(5) - YouTube
It’s a Dornier DO28
T6 Texan/Harvard
Vickers VC10
BAC Jet Provost
Hawker Hurricane
De Havilland Mosquito
I’m not sure the sim currently supports piston and jet engines on the same aircraft. Which sadly means that the B-36 Peacemaker (“two turning, two burning, two smoking, two choking, and two unaccounted for”) is also not a possibility.
As we’ve seen in the past, there are ways of achieving a believable experience even when it comes to things the sim doesn’t specifically support.
