My guess is they are using the regular version of the G1000, not the WT NXi.

Hello, I can’t seem to click in on the knobs, nor can I find the keybind for it. Anyone know what its under? I can rotate the knobs but can’t click them in to confirm.

Love the work you guys at Working Title do, btw. I love the CJ4 stuff, and the NXi is fantastic, but yeah, those white boxes on touch screens need to go. I understand the sentiment now behind why they exist but they need iterating on significantly. There is absolutely no need for them ever again once the player understands that a specific screen is a touch screen.

If you are using the Lock interaction mode (blue highlighted control), hold the Left mouse button and click on the Right mouse button to push the knob.

Hello all. I have a problem in the G36. I have not tried other planes yet. The PFD is fixed in the TAWS Test mode and has an altitude of 99999ft. I cannot select any VS or IAS mode at all.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem?
Common problem if you are using NXi WT devs explained it earlier because it is in Beta at the moment. Maybe SU 6 will fix it this week.

Unfortunately SU6 is not this week but probably in about a month or so. Today is WU6 (World Update 6). Since WU6 was pushed back several weeks it’s very like SU6 will also be pushed back from the originally planned date.

Sorry, mine is almost unworkable after the update last night. I have weird numbers all over the place on all the G1000 aircraft. can we rewind ???
Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? I would remove the NXi, reboot the sim, and check that the default G1000 is working properly. Then try re-installing the NXi.
I should have taken a screen shot. Sorry I have already shut down the sim after deleting the NXi. I have rebooted and the G1000 works as it should now. To help you I will re-install the NXi update and try to get a screen shot for you. I had uncontrollable VS. not following NAV, - altitudes etc.

I was playing around with RNAV approaches at LOWI yesterday, so I know it can do all of those things. I also noticed what I was doing wrong with regard to the approach, causing it not to not arm correctly. Even though the IAF was at 13,000ft, and I was pretty much spot on this, when I flipped on the AP the plane pitched up rapidly.
I assumed the AP had gone berserk so switched it off, and hand flew it past that point. I noticed that GS was still in white on the way in to LOWI, and I had lateral navigation but it had not engaged correctly. Also at one point for some reason it enabled suspend mode during the approach at one point. I’m not sure what I did wrong there.
I slewed back to the West, and attempted it again. This time I made sure I was slightly above the IAF, and the AP actually came in at around 13,500 I think. This time the white GS changed to a green GP for glide path, and the RNAV approach was perfect!
I’m still not sure what it didn’t come in at the published 13,000ft, and wanted to come in higher.
I have re-installed it and flying again. It is better. I use FSRadio Panel , and have done for some time, It is not talking to all the modes in FSPanel and the altitude is stuck on 99000. on the FSPanel server. I also use Honeycomb Throttle and I could not alter any ATL, VS, HDG etc when it was playing up earlier. I have deleted it again and all my equipment works just like it did prior to the update last night.. Let me know If I can be of any further help. Cheers. Stu.
Not sure if anyone has this issue or not but thought i would post it in case someone has had it and can save me the time of trouble shooting since when i get home i just want to fly haha
So, i am using the HC Bravo throttle quad and up until a few days ago the increase/decrease know allowed me to change the VS on the G1000 when moving the left selection know to VS. It now doesnt work like that anymore for some reason and the only thing i can think of that i changed was updating the nxi G1000 in the marketplace.
Has nyone else encountered this?
Yes have the same issues myself since updating the NXi in the marketplace.
