I have no doubt the Boeing 247D ends up high on this list. It just needs a little time for everybody to fly it more. Was finally able to fly it myself today and it’s amazing. I need more than a few flights though to knock another plane off the throne.

Is your C172 this one (mod)?
C172 Skyhawk JT-A Turbodiesel

Just stock Skyhawk (should have clarified)
And stock Asobo too for the 152

Actually, I’m thinking of combining all the Cessna 172 choices into a single row. Currently it’s as below. If I combined them it would have 38pts and make it into position 12.

Asobo Cessna C172 (stock)
10 mentions 27pts 2.70 average

Asobo Cessna 172 (with Bush Kit mod)
2 mentions 6pts 3.00 average

Asobo C172 Skyhawk JT-A Turbodiesel
1 mention 5pts 5.00 average

What does everyone think?

  4. JustFlight Arrow III NA

  5. SWS Quest Kodiak 100

When the Milvitz Cessna 310 is released it could be very high…

I never use the engine start shortcut, learning how different aircraft power up etc and knowing it off by heart is part of the fun, for me.

LOL, umm OK. Not sure how to score that!!

I know this is going again back to what I said earlier, about turning this into a legit “chart” but tbh now that this thing has developed the way it has, each entry should get 1 point simple as, (obv not more than 1 for same plane). Yup another spanner in the works I know.

Just score the first entry of each plane as usual and ignore dupes?

Not really a spanner. We have that info already in the FAVS column (that is 1 “point” per mention basically). I could reorder the table using that instead but I like that there can be more weight by having a top plane. Either way it’s easily shuffled.

In no specific order as they belong to different categories:

  • Just Flight PA28 Turbo Arrow
  • Wing42 Boeing 247D
  • TouchingCloud DG-808S
  • Mario Noriega Designs Caproni-Vizzola C-22J Ventura
  • AzurPoly Fouga CM.170 Magister

I had no more room in the list for the DC-6 and the Twin Otter, and still no more for the H145, but that’s life

You’re welcome to ignore it👍

Here is the vote for my favourite aircraft - tried to bring them in a priority sequence - but it should be in a non specific order!

  1. Aerosoft CRJ series
  2. PMDG DC-6
  3. Flysimware C414
  4. Aerosoft Twin Otter
  5. Just Flight PA28 Turbo Arrow

First Post:

  1. Wing42 B247 - as its up to now the far most enhanced and immersive plane out there
  2. FBW A320 - just awesome what this team is achieving
  3. BigRadials G21 Goose - yes I love Radial engines
  4. FSW C414 - still in Beta but best piston twin prop out there
  5. //42 Fox - a joy to fly for scenic cruises at slower speeds

The Kodiak, DC6, Arrows, Caproni and Spit IX would fill up the top 10… While thinking about my top 5 atm I really got impressed by the good planes in my hangar already…

Cheers
T.
