Hey thanks for the list. Sorry to be picky but we’re counting the Arrows (Turbo and NA / 3 and 4) together. Do you want to shuffle that up and add a 5th Aircraft?

Complicated and a little antiquated systems make this fun to fly.

  2. Working Title Cessna CJ4
Runs and flies well. Love the sounds and passenger briefings.

  3. Aerosoft CRJ 700/900
Tricky to learn but a great airliner to fly.

  4. FBW A320Neo

  5. Salty Boeing 747

Honorable mentions Simworks Kodiak 100 & Asobo Cessna 172: I haven’t flown the Kodiak much yet. I wish it had Simbrief integration but I don’t really count that against it. Flies great from my experience so far though.

Asobo’s 172 is what I’ve done some bush flights in and they seem great. Default system is pretty easy to use too.

Asobo Kingair is fun sometimes but the taxi problems and so many disabled buttons and inflexible camera make me stay away.

Caveat to my opinions: these are basically also all the planes I’ve flown so far!

Old list:

  1. Islander - Still doing my tour and it is just a nice nitty gritty down to earth plane.
  2. BAe-146 - Have not flown her too much yet due to a lack of time ands CTD issues not related to this plane. Fantastic plane, very capable and very fast and easy to set up and get going.
  3. Kodiak - Also used on the tour. Mainly for longer trips where the Islander gets a bit too slow. (while the sound is fantastic, it is also ultra boring)
  4. JF Arrow - Not flown much, only troubleshoot and document some issues with the FM for me atm, that are being looked into by JF.
  5. Nothing atm But i am having an eye on the Twotter/310/Trislander/B737/MD-80/freedomfox who knows, maybe one of these is on one of the spots next time.

New list.

  1. Trislander - We’ll it’s a bigger Islander, what is not to like and a lot more detail then the Islander.
  2. Islander - There is just something about this box. Can’t beat two NA pistons (except put on 3)
  3. BAe-146 - I don’t fly it enough but absolutely fantastic module.
  4. Arrows by JF
  5. Kodiak - I have honestly started to become more and more bored in the Kodiak.

My original list is quoted below:

  1. Fenix Airbus
  2. Milviz C310R
  3. SWS Kodiak
  4. FlyingIron Spitfire
  5. Just Flight Arrows

What a crazy few weeks it’s been. I hate to drop any planes off the list, as I still fly the FBW Airbus and the Freedom Fox frequently. The Fenix Airbus is just so great, and will keep me learning for a really long time. Milviz C310R is groundbreaking as well, and is my favorite GA. Still flying the Spit around the world and she just got a huge update, making it even better than before.

Fenix is amazing.
Loving the 414 v2.0, it just keeps on getting better.
The C208 has fallen due to the C414 and the C172 will be me getting my low and slow GA fix after Fenix.
The CJ4 is being used less and less ATM - still great though!

I love how there are Airliner fliers, GA fliers, Bush fliers, and mixed. But usually there is something from 1 or two other categories even for each of those groups.

Some variation is important, prevents burnout.

I’m giving an updated list because other than the C22J and Hawk I haven’t bought anything in a while so the others have settled into regular flyers

  1. Caproni Vizzola C22J Ventura
  2. Junkers JU-52
  3. SWS RV-14
  4. Big Radials Grumman Goose
  5. Carenado D17 Staggerwing

I grabbed the C22J on sale for $5.50 and this thing is an unbelievable amount of plane for the money. Sounds and flies great, has great nav instruments, I’m having a blast with it

I agree on the C-22J. Each time I fly it I realize that I have absolutely no gripes with it. It simply works and flies great. It really is an amazingly well done aircraft for this sim.
