Dude not being funny but I seem to have lost track of your lists. None of them really make sense lol
Could you do me a favour and confirm your OLD 5 and the new 5 (not including any “not yet released” if you can please!
)
I think the old was:
- PMDG 737
- 414
- Maddog
- Senca
- Skymaster
So what is your real #2 now?

Good news! The app @Funghie @MojaveHigh2379 and myself have been working on is now available to download officially on Flightsim.to !!
https://flightsim.to/file/31716/admiral-s-hobbs-counter-for-windows
Our application will analyse your aircraft and pull out either Hours or Hobbs data and display it in an ordered list (currently a generated text File) by combining all variants of a similar model, so you can see which aircraft you have used the most.
We would greatly appreciate anyone that wants to use the app sending in their Missing Aircraft text file (which the app generates) so that we can expand our Aircraft Names Database. You’ll see how to do that either built-in to the app or it can simply be emailed.
GIVE IT A TRY !
Let’s see if the results resemble your Top 5 as posted on this thread haha!
Any questions - just ask! Enjoy.

Pertaining to this thread I was wondering how this app would tie in. One question though. The App does all time top aircraft list from your logbook. Would it be possible to add a filter say just for last 7 days / 1 month / all time say. That way people could feed it into this thread more easily. Just a suggestion. It’s a great we app already.
My all time top 5 according to the Hobbs counter app-
MSFS Hours & Hobbs - Version 1.4.9 - by Phil Pendlebury & Mark Hockings

Yes I’m a military jet fan and often visit the Mach Loop as it’s not far from my home here in Wales to photograph the real ones flying through

Yes for sure. I think keep the results sperate. This is a different approach to picking a top 5 or 10. Our app is more more like “Most flown”.
That actually may be possible too. Will look into it.
The Hobbs thread is here btw:

Is there a flightplan available for that loop? Would love to go take the JF Hawk around it.
- JF BAe-146
- C337 Skymaster
- JF Arrow
- Leonardo MD-80
- BN-2A Islander
Based on at least 30 hours in each. And #1 is quite possibly my fave add-on in any Flight Sim I’ve ever owned.

Another one:

Additional obstacles / rings to fly through:

Longer one with extra part them sometimes use for certain planes I believe:

Scenery of some added photographers etc:

Orbx Fun With Friends also made a marked-out racetrack from it (probably will clash with that rings one):

To be fair you’re probably better of finding cgaviators video about it and just fly it enough to find the entry and memorise the circuit. It’s only about 3 mins and not that hard to remember after a few runs. Take off from RAF Valley (and return there) is the classic I do for testing new jets

That must be awesome to go there from your own house!

Sounds about right for me. Thank you for this app.

Great stuff. So we will see the C310, C414 and BAe146 there soon?
Doubt it. I think the 737 will replace the CRJs and possibly the A32NX in the future, hence it’s alllll i’ve been flying lately.

That’s coll will check it out when I get a chance. Thank you.
Will go hunt for RAF Valley not sure I’ve been there before. I’ve mainly just been around west coast of Wales.

It’s on the north point of Anglesey island. Only about 6 mins flight to the entry to the loop in the Hawk. Mona Airbase is on the island too (longer runway but at about 90 degrees from the Valley one I think).
Nearer is Llanbedr on the west coast but I think Valley is where they actually go from IRL.

Fly Lakenheath to valley then head south along the coast to lanbedr then hunt around for machenlyth
Or use this

Leave RAF Valley from runway 13 and head pretty much straight out and over Snowdon and head for a lake slightly to the right just ahead of you (called Poison lake by the pilots that overfly it due to being on a disused nuclear plant)
from there on in it’s pretty much straight ahead of you
