Simply because some people might be eager to see what is being worked on / about to change? Is it a bad thing that people care about that?

It doesnât change the fact that SU4 was released 2 months ago. In this phase we wont see SU5 release before May ? Are we good with 2 Sim Updates a year ?
The point is that if they communicate a target or even imply one, and then it is missed, users have more to grumble about, or at least thatâs their perception.
Iâm far less concerned with the quantity of Sim Updates we get each year, and more concerned with their quality - which takes time.
Iâm not inclined to rush them whatsoever.

Thereâs no Christmas and New Yearâs holidays to contend with as you do in December and January. Suggesting SU5 comes in May is a little hyperbolic.
I think MS has stated their intent was quarterly SUâs. That doesnât include world updates, city updates, local legends, or famous flyers, which are all separate releases.
Teams are busy.
Thats a week all together.
Thatâs a big assumption that SU6 will have the same time gap as SU5 (although, technically, weâre still only one month into Q1). They just released on the PS5, I expect they have a lot going on at the moment and SU4 is pretty stable, so far.

Where to begin really 
As mentioned above, the stutters when changing cameras, panning, is indeed a big pain point. Especially for us Tobii/head tracker users. In one of the last dev stream, they confirmed the issue and explained it is due to the VRAM bug that they had to make assets offload when you dont look at them for more than 5 seconds or so. Which then needs to load them again when you look at them. Causing a major stutter.
Other than that, i would love to see more weather improvements, ground frication overhaul, and there is much moreâŠ
This sim needs to advance being its been delivered to us worse than FS2020.
I donât think thatâs how it works in reality in France (or many other places I suspect) where the work is getting done.
Regardless if itâs one or two, thereâs still nearly two whole months left in the quarter, and MS will still likely hit four SU releases this year.
Iâm still not sure what all the hand-wringing is about. We have five years of releases that kinda show how this all goes.
And many people holding out that their personal wishlist gets addressed will stop by to post angry feedback.

Its not our personal Wishlist, its about working as it should and not worse then the previous title ! I could have saved $130.00 if i knew thatâs the experience i would get, and still use mostly FS2020 more then a year after release.
Everyoneâs experience is different, thus making it very personal. I refunded MSFS2024 shortly after I purchased in November â24 because it was a woeful experience for me. After SU4 I finally returned and have found I can now do everything in 24 that I did in 20.
And I have high expectations things will improve further. Looking forward to SU5, whenever it may come

This was complained about (and rightly so) 14 months ago.
Major strides have been made to improve it.
Is it perfect? No.
Are we eagerly awaiting SU5? I know I am.
It will be ready when itâs ready.

Why must there be some unexpected big issue with our beloved sim when a SU beta lasts a bit longer?

You see what happens above. When a moderator or cm answers the community always has multiple follow up questions. The discussion will never stop when they would more actively participate here. There are always many simmers who want to have the last word. Itâs simply unmanageable. Thatâs why they communicate as little as possible, and in a strategic way.

Up until fairly recently this was kind of taken for granted in many industries.
I donât need to elaborate on just how much this notion has drastically changed.
As recently as 70 years ago, my fatherâs advice to me still echoes in my ears.

I, personally, never abided by or followed that advice.
