Haven’t done 20 yet, but it’s on my list. Did highway 2 from Maine, portaged through Canada, then from the UP to Washington.
So far:
US-1 Northbound in the V-35
US-50 Eastbound in the 337
US-95 Southbound in the Kodiak
US-90 Eastbound in the T-6
US-41 Northbound in the 310
US-2 Westbound in the Beaver
US-101 Southbound (in progress) in the 170
US-95, not I-95, heh. But if I did something with the F-111 up there, it’d probably be out of Plattsburgh. Though, admittedly, that was an FB-111 base.
Just bought it and I love it! Has its little quirks for sure… one thing that really jumps out for me is the flight model seems off, to me it’s to be a big heavy jet, but it flies like the F-18 … I could be wrong because it’s not like I know what a real F-111E flies like haha, but I do think it’s far to agile!
-WP patch will be available for download from our site AviaSimHD.com within a first update in the mid of Jan. and yes, it can be installed to PC. (I hope custom updates do not contradict Microsoft policy)
as to community version, i have no specific dates for the release. Probabbly after a couple of month.
Wing sweep function is not automatic and as i know can be tied to axis. I will verify which channel is used for it and let you know.
As to FM. We spent a lot of time studying the documentation for the flight model and its setup. The model has a custom code to match flight characteristics in different flight modes and with different combat loads. Try to take off with a full load and everything will become clear. This is definitely not F18))). (Make sure your Sim’s settings are set to full realism)
Your comment regarding developement costs of the TSR 2 gave us an ironic chuckle with a bitter aftertaste.
The F-35 has been Decades in ‘developement’ and still is. In excess of £40,000 per hour is required to keep this ‘experimental’ Jet in the air and the British Tax payer is footing the bill.
