Anyone NOT having bad framerates after latest update?

There are several trending topics such as Suffering with poor FPS after today’s update? Please submit a ticket! and Random FPS drops in completely unremarkable locations that have had thousands of views and hundreds of replies over the last week, but I thought I’d try trouble shooting this issue from from a different angle.

Are there any users out there who have NOT suffered random framerate drops after installing Sim Update 3? If so, please post below and let those of us who are having the issue the following information:

No noticeable drop in frame rates.

CPU: Ryzen 3700X
GPU: RTX 2070 Super
RAM: 32 GiB
OS: Win10 current release (not insiders)
Areas recently flown: Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Calgary
Aircraft types recently flown: Cessna 172 G1000, Cessna Citation Longitude, F-15E, T-45C, Boeing 787

(Note Los Angeles is notoriously stuttery because it’s a particularly huge photogrammetry area, but it’s no worse than usual.)

No more stutters than usual. FPS seems the same overall. The most FPS drop I have that’s reproduceable is going from eastern LI towards NYC. When the initial photogrammetry hits, the sim will freeze about 2-5 full seconds. That I don’t think I’ve had before. After that initial hit the sim is business as usual. I also fly 100% in VR (reverb G2 - without motion reproj enabled) lately.

Recently have done long haul flights from PHNL to KEWR. NZQN to PHNL. Currently on a long haul from KORD to SCCI. I also have done some regional flights from KBGM to KACY. KILM to KRDU.

I mainly fly the 787. The regional flights were done in the longitude. I also did a flight from KBGM to KAVP in the bonanza the other night.

Other notes to add; I have zero added content on my game at all.

So there is a Issue in my opionion.

Edit 76T Bishop…suggest everyone try that sure their FPS WILL be single figures.

I don’t run an FPS counter but I can’t say that I have noticed what other people are describing so far. I see the occasional brief drop in frames for a few seconds, but I have experienced that on and off since the first release. I have actually noticed an increase in performance around Vancouver photogrammetry since WU3, I used to get very bad stuttering over Stanley Park, now it is completely smooth.

I should also note that other than the JF Piper Arrow and the Global AI Ship Traffic mod, I have nothing else in my Community folder, and I have all the World Update addons installed within MSFS.

Everywhere…stutters everywhere I’ve flowin with PG. I don’t fly with it off, so I can’t speak to generic areas. Stutters no matter what settings I use.

Is anyone here that wasn’t affected running any simconnect plugins? I remember that being a big issue in the initial release concerning performance. Just throwing darts blindfolded here but reading this thread reminded me lol.

Fly mostly in VR with quest 2 v27 and having the best performance I’ve had since beta times so no complaints.

FYI… no simconnect plugins.

WOAH! except for one 3070 no one has the 30 series and the devs mentioned it was hardware specific issue maybe its the 30 series???

sample size is way to small to draw any conclusions.

So is the number of people with the 30 series so you could be right lol

I’ve had no noticeable drop either.

32GB RAM
RTX 2060 Super 8GB VRAM (v460.89)

I’ve had almost none of the issues people have complained about since day one and after each update.

true that
