No information about anything useful regarding improving the SIM then.

Hello @rp198419,

In case you missed it, this week’s Development Update Blog linked to the release notes for SU2 beta builds 1.4.9.0 and 1.4.10.0 which contain many useful improvements to the sim.

Thanks,

So it says under the 2024 releases the inibuilds a350 released on both pc AND Xbox? Is this wrong? I have looked on 2024 and it currently says unavailable on my Xbox…

Hello @AsherPrime07,

The blog post shows the A350 Airliner as only available for PC (for now – the Xbox release is coming soon) for me. Are you seeing differently?

Thanks,

No updated bugs and Wishlist snapshots this week again.

Yes Seedy…but that’s all it contains; nothing useful, eg when the aircraft lights will be visible in the daytime, when the ground textures will be restored, when the AI aircraft behaviour will be fixed, when…well, hopefully you get the point.

Uh…

…that doesn’t look like 54. That looks like 1.

Huh it must’ve been fixed really quickly! No problem at all thanks guys!

So. how soon is soon for Xbox? No one seems to know or is willing to declare.

In fairness, the two linked release notes spell out a LOT of fixes just in the past few weeks. Maybe not fixes you care about but certainly very many. Personally, I feel SU2 has advanced the ball quite a bit.

That’s funny!

Still waiting for a bunch to be updated that they have had files since January updated in 2020 not on 2024

We can’t do anything on Xbox to get the newest packages without the updates being pushed faster as all of its controlled by marketplace

I agree the ball has moved forward. But there are a slew of complaints regarding ground textures and AI behavior. Maybe we will get another build tomorrow and one or two of the regressions will be fixed.

Sure, it’s improving but fundamentals, like being able to identify other aircraft during daylight hours, are essential; otherwise what’s the point of having other aircraft in the SIM at all?

Still no indication of when updates are being pushed for 2024 marketplace for Xbox

I know for a fact some of the versions in 2024 are outdated yet have been updated in 2020 wouldn’t the newer versions be better for 2024 wee bit confused what’s going on there and there’s no communication about it either all the Dev teams Ive talked to have said they are at your mercy for when it happens so what’s going on

See:

And, in the latest MS Store build for the PC the control binding interface is completely broken and causing CTDs.

Yet, if you look at the totality of the fixes in the recent SU2 builds they have fixed a lot. People’s priorities may differ as does the effort level to fix different things. I want a lot more fixed myself—but, don’t think it is accurate to suggest the release notes don’t provide “useful” information or demonstrate forward progress.

As I said I’m my second post, it does represent improvement. I’m merely suggesting that they fix the fundamentals first.

5 dollars to change the color of the flashlight?? What the â– â– â– â– ?
