I took off form CYVR and flew to the Lion’s Gate Bridge Vancouver (form East to West)

I had the issue once (see attached screenshot) but couldn’t reproduce it later. I use GAIST and brought this already forward on the GAIST forum. I was told this is not a GAIST ship. This is with the lates WU (Canada) active.

Henrik (maker of GAIST) confirmed these are not ships he created.

Ok, this confirm a MSFS bug, probably due to the SU10 wake waves effect.
Moderators, do you report the bug or should I submit a ticket ?

It’s not a GAIST bug, but can you tell me which % do you use to display maritime traffic ? (Just to see if GAIST suppress default traffic or not)

OK, I’ve tried the Seafront Simulation « Vessels Enhanced AI » (payware :shushing_face:) which replace the default MSFS models, and it’s working. No more artefacts.

yesterday I tried exact this location (Vancouver ) and seen that moving freighther, but non of these wireframes :thinking: … it was Vancouver , or ?

( I have no GAIST )

the ship drives backwards :rofl: , but otherwise all is fine

It seems to be a Seafront model, no ? in any case, this is not the default cargo model I had.

I have mainly vanilla MSFS, so nothing installed in terms of additional “models” and also no payware scenery nearby. Of course the heli in screen is payware.

And ah… there is a Oil-tanker and a Container-Freigther… The Freigther is visible in last screenshot.

retested now also with some lower settings and switched to DX12 ( who knows )

But I can’t catch wireframes…

PS: but we really really need a bug, that these big ships drive into wrong direction and so also the waves are at wrong side ( more exact: the waves are correct, the ships need rotated to 180° ). By these little ships it works well.

the bug is there with 60% ships-traffic and also with less
i do not know, where this bug is coming from…
anybody knows ?

It’s look like something due to the wake waves effect introduced on MSFS ships with SU10.
It doesn’t appear with GAIST ships neither Seafront ships, which can be used to replace default MSFS boats (payware)

and I can not reproduce it with MSFS default ships :wink:


@ACHJER you have a different location and different kind of ships which I can recheck ?
