perform a clean uninstall, via my pc → application management uninstall the just flight analog caravan,
do a doble check in community folder to ensure no file is still in related to the caravan, uninstall old JD c208 flight model if you used them previously they arenot necessary anymore, and then relaunch your sim, switch aircraft to refresh the caching files

also ensure all your pms mod are up to date ( Vapa00 “Solution to this problem was that I hadn’t updated pms wtt autopilot mod, i had only updated pms gtn. Now everything works.” )

First easy step is to try the parasitic drag slider in the menus.

Does anyone know how to turn the yaw damper on and off or is it automatic like in a Cirrus?

the KAP140 doesn’t have any control on rudder and just control roll axis so there is no YD ,
also can’t find the mention of it on the manual I fast checked , and never saw or used this feature in this caravan

My goodness is this one a joy to fly. The cockpit is amazing. Did my first flight just off the checklist.
So smooth when taxiing, when flying, landing. The gauges are truly a work of art. Even the fuel level indicators are influenced by movement of the plane. This is pro study level.
The GPS did not turn on though, and since I did not read the manual yet, I wonder why this is? What button did I forget to push? But even if it would never turn on - still have the Sky4SimNG tablet as backup -, I will fly this a lot.
I actually bought it by accident as I selected the wrong link. I wanted to buy the King Air. After seeing this, I do not regret my mistake one bit. The King Air is still on my list after the quality of this product.

love a lot this aircraft and fly it everyday

From tunisia to the end (texas , USA) (west to east side) I have been using the Black square very enjoyable with his kns80 system and gps which ones I tried to use the less possible
unfortunately the cdi canot be slaved to the gps, but you will fast be used to consult your flight plan or gps to check the DTK and set the accurate direction on the HSI for the cdi

Cabin lights during daytime stopped working after SU11. Anyone else experience the same?

Working fine here as well (note shine on light knobs). The pax cabin lights are functioning too.

Today, I flew the Caravan for the first time since the release of a certain Kingair and it really does bring a smile to your face. It is a genuinely lovely aircraft to fly and with Tobii, the upfront views are fantastic. Love it to bits.

I have the same problem. In general the KAP140 seems to behave incorrectly (e.g. in hdg or nav mode it will still show that roll mode is active). I have the KAP140 mod uninstalled and use version 0.1.3.
Is there a know conflict with another addon perhaps?

similar issues have cropped up with the Carenado V35B, and somehow it seems linked to having the new WT GNS530 installed. I’ve yet to test this personally.

@gekkoguy35 maybe should you try removing the gtn750 if using the gns530 WT I read this on the 350 's thread

Yes indeed that is it! Removed the TDS package from my community folder and now the autopilot works correctly.

And the other way around works as well, uninstall the WT530 and it works as well using the TDS 750. So a little switching around for now depending what you want to use :slight_smile:

dunno if you already use add-on linker, for those kind of incompatibility, recommend trying it, you can set preset depending of what / how you want to fly (so you have everything still installed )

Does anyone have a problem with windshield de-icing?
Whenever I run into icing conditions, my windshield ices up and the de-icing doesn’t really do anything. Not even after 15 minutes. Or not that I can notice. Is this standard aircraft behavior? Or should it really have an immediate noticeable effect?
