World Update 3 is in its final polish phase and is now locked in for release on Tuesday, February 16th. The team is putting the finishing touches on all aspects of this massive update, and we appreciate your continued patience.

THIRD PARTY UPDATE

  • We have a total of 110 approved payware partners (+5 from last week) and 176 products (+20 from last week) live in the in-sim store.
  • 610 products (+16) have already been released in 3rd party stores and the in-sim marketplace. Beyond that, another 273 products (+24) from 3rd party developers are in production (150 announced, 123 unannounced). In total, over 883 3rd party products (+40) are either released or are in development.
  • Airports:
    • 562 airports (+18) are either released or are in various stages of development.
      • 384 airports (+1) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
      • 147 airports (+18) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
      • 75 airports (+16) beyond the released airports have been announced.
      • 103 airports (+0) are not announced, but the dev let us know that an airport is in production.
  • Aircraft:
    • 111 aircraft (+7) are either released or are in various stages of development.
      • 20 aircraft (+0) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
      • 9 aircraft (+0) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
      • 71 aircraft (+5) beyond the released aircraft have been announced.
      • 20 aircraft (+2) are not announced, but the dev let us know that an aircraft is in production.
  • Scenery:
    • 197 sceneries (+15) are either released or are in various stages of development.
      • 193 sceneries (+15) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
      • 15 sceneries (+2) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
      • 4 sceneries (+0) beyond the released scenery have been announced.
  • Missions:
    • 13 missions (+0) are either released or are in various stages of development.
      • 13 missions (+0) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
      • 0 missions (+0) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
      • 0 missions (+0) beyond the released missions have been announced.

SDK UPDATE

  • DevMode:
    • Fixed some warning formatting in the Aircraft Editor.
    • Removed the option to change Landmark display name (as it was causing issue at the packaging stage).
    • Completed transition to new help building system.

MARKETPLACE UPDATE

Today there are 16 new products and 4 updated products releasing in the Marketplace.
