Is there still no solution how to hide the pilot and the co-pilot in the cockpit view? (last Version - Beta 8)

I made some experimental implementation of deice system for SU7. Based on what you are saying I will have to adapt it to SU8 (depending what has been in fact implemented nateively in the sim). I fixed the problem with shutoff valve andd cold and dark configuration. If you still use su7 and what to test it you can take it from the branch:

Reverse trust does not work anymore ! The aircraft is not pushing backwards !

What is your reverse set to? I am working for another 5 hours so I canât check - but it was suggested to map âthrottle downâ to the thrust reverse portion of my Honeycomb Bravo.
I have tested it again and now it´s working. Had this problem before, after shutting down the engine and starting it again. I am not able to reproduce the problem. I hope you can see the Bindings.

I guess this ties in with not being able to hide the yokes?
Anyone know if there is a way to delete the Pilot/Co-pilot avatar by editing a config file or something like that?
Is the Mod Author (or team) aware of the problem?

Hey @tommycologne - (shhhh!) I just snuck on to my home computer and checked it out. Mine works, but I have âfreaky VR pilotâ parts⌠like his moustache, sunglasses, etc⌠The thrust reverse works fine though.
Apologies for the squished resolution. Itâs a remote session, and the screen isnât full size. The âDecrease Throttleâ variable was the one suggested to me, and it works just like it should on the Bravo.
Try zooming forward to see if itâs better.
Itâs a bug. Mod is broken by this update.
Aww nuts. SU8 broke the C208B Mod, especially by adding two avatars in the pilot and co-pilot seats. I poked around the UI for an hour to see if there was a control to turn this rather annoying visual off. Nope, nothing found. I removed the mod from the community folder and restarted. That fixed the avatar problem. The yoke can be hidden again too. The cursor alignment for autopilot controls seem to be better, but it could be Iâm just excited to get rid of the avatars. Not sure about anything else. BTW, the VFR map got broke too.
SU8 has issues flying the Cessna 208 with the C208B-mod.
In a short flight with the mod and SU8, the following issues were noted:
- Could not hide the yoke
- Watching the panel from inside the Pilotâs head
- MFD Range Button Inop
- AP HDG knob inop
- CTD switching between Camera views
I restarted with the mod removed and the first 4 of these are definitely no longer present. Have not had a CTD since.
Yeah have the pilot/co-pilot show up after SU8 too. Gonna need an update of mod to get rid of it. The mod being busted by SU8 beta and not seeing a updated version for use with the beta (figured the new âfixesâ for the c208b was going to break the mod)kept me from getting in on the beta.
I have had the pilot occasionally show up when come back into cockpit view from outside view over the past year or so. Usually fixes itself with going back out to outside and coming back in again. I have had the co-pilot turned off in the config file but post SU8 he was showing up.

I know why this is.
This is caused by the 3d model which has changed with SU8.
Will be fixed in upcoming release.

Totally agree, the C208 mod makes or breaks my sim experience as the caravan is my go-to aircraft in the sim.
