  1. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

Yes

  1. Description of the issue:

Incompatible 2020 scenery is overwriting 2024 streamed scenery (KBOS from Bredok for example). Even though it can be checked in my library there are no action buttons to disable or delete it. This is game breaking for any automatically imported content that doesn’t work/users don’t want.

I might have figured out a workaround here. It’s painful, especially if you have a lot of marketplace 2020 content but it seems to have worked for me. PC only unfortunately. Feedback appreciated.

Exit out of MSFS2024 completely.
Find %AppData%\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\StreamedPackages

In that directory find the folder name of the broken whatever

Create an empty folder in the 2024 community folder of that name. This folder needs to have the same name but needs to be empty.

Launch sim and see if you have defaults or still the broken 2020 package.

You’re a genius. Yep - works!

OMG, I love you right now!

Thank you for figuring this out!

Man, this Community rules!

We shall overcome.

You are my hero. Thanks a lot for that. Brilliant.

Thanks again. Works like a charm.

Thanks!

@Gorony Your workaround worked perfectly! Thank you very much!

Brilliant, I used this to disable the Orbx london city landmarks (which works perfectly well but seemed to be hitting FPS pretty badly).

Dude that worked like magic! good job!! :trophy: :medal_sports:

for some reason the folder on my machine is “C:\Users\XXX\Documents\My Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\StreamedPackages” ?

@Gorony thanks a lot, solved 2 problems so far.

Thank you very much man!!
I love this community that despite all the setbacks we are and will always be there to help each other!!

Thank You so much , I was stuck at 98 percent and tried this and this was the solution ! It was an 2020 bredokk a320 liveries pack that was the culprit . Can’t believe we can’t simply deselect the so called addons that are clearly not viable for 2024 . Thank You a million! This should be pinned and addressed immediately to Asobo .

Thanks. Guess I just won’t play for awhile. There’s a buttload of folders in there haha.

You made my day, thank you so much!

it is unuseable for me …
the Asobo LOWI stall in the steaming here

If you have a lot of folders to delete and do not want to create them one by one in Community, the quickest option is to copy them all in their entirety to the Community folder.

Once copied, there is no need to go in one by one to delete the content. Instead, we can use this Windows PowerShell command (run PS in Administrator mode).

To do this, simply follow these steps:

1- Run PowerShell in Administrator mode
2- Type the following command (replacing YOURUSERNAME with your Windows user name):

Get-ChildItem -Path “C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community*” -Recurse | Remove-Item -Recurse -Force

Once typed (or pasted), press the Enter key to execute the command.

DISCLAIMER: Be very careful when typing the path where the folders are located, use at your own risk.
