I agree and Iāll do the night certification next, to confirm what youāve seen.
Iāve got enough money to start a company, but Iāll do some additional certifications instead, as Iād rather learn from othersā mistakes on the best way forward for the first company. 
Iāve had LIVE Career missions inoperable from the start. (I have LIVE enabled in Online settings). [Xbox]
Im having the same problems on xbox series x. I go to career mode and the red error man is there. The voice tells me to look around the plane outside. But i am inside the plane. Its tells to push L button +b at the same timeā¦this does nothing. So i thought i would start again and go onto character change. I pick a face and select and the game jumps and closes down and returns to xbox main menu. I have deleted and reinstall the game many times now. I also today restore factory settings and reinstall the game and it still happens. Has anyone had the same problems and resolve this?. Help ā¦i want to play the game .
On most longer flights (which I personally like longer missions) Iāll make it all the way to landing and itāll crash to desktop as soon as I touch down. Or like what happened to me yesterday, I do a 5hr flight, land at the destination airportā¦ but the game wonāt recognize I landed, so no reward.
Does anyone know if the missions require you to follow the gates perfectly. I canāt stand flying through the blue gates and would like to turn them off and just fly to the waypoints etcā¦ Does your score reflect that you didnāt respect their predetermined flight pathā¦ e.g. I can ascend/descend much quicker on the skydiving missions myself if I donāt follow their flight pathā¦ will it dock me? or as long as I make it to the waypoints properly Iām fineā¦ Alsoā¦ will I have to fly exactly through their blue gates to allow the jumpers to jump. If true, it seems like it might be very difficult to do these missions without assistance. Also are there any bonuses for completing them without assitance?
I canāt wait to leave Flightseeing missions behind, not least because someone decided that multiple different (not very) obtuse references to an upcoming Microsoft video game featuring a particular adventurer were needed. If I hear an AI-spoken reference to his āhat and whipā or āthat famous musicā one more timeā¦
Red Error Men donāt get to walk around or fly.
To stop being a Red Error Man go to the main menu, hit your username in the top right corner, and then in the menu that comes up chose to customize your identity. It may sound like some woke nonsense, but trust me, it is the way to go if you want to fly.
Once you are no longer Red Error Man everything will start working and you will be able to walk around and fly.
Some people reported CTD attempting to customize their identities. If that happens to youā¦ I donāt know how to solve that, but Iād try completely removing fs2024, includng any config it may leave behind itself when removed, and then adding it again and starting afresh.
yeah you dont need to follow them at all, if you follow your flightplan (you can change it before you enter in efb) then you can just fly to your own navigation, or simply cancel ifr as soon as you can and fly straight to destination

In regards to your āwind and turbulenceā portion.
I havenāt taken my IFR yet because your post eludes to an issue if I take it.
do you mind telling me what the issue is?.. I want to do IFR, but I donāt want whatever the issue is popping up.

The winds experienced before IFR test are calm.
After you take the certification it starts applying real weather. I wonāt go into how realistic it is, as some people report 70kt crosswinds with calm weather at reported real-life location, but even if it is working and the weather reported is real - most people are flying in the global North, US and Europe. It is now storm season in both of those locations, and so if all you have is a C172 you will need to become an expert in landing the thing in a 20-50kt crosswind real fast.
Flying in places that do not experience strong winds this time of the year is of course another workaround.

Hi,
Cannot complete cargo flight from LOWS to EDOA because the parking stand is on top of a hangar. Following the blue taxi aid arrows at the destination EDOA will lead you to crash into that hangar.
It makes it impossible to complete the flight.
Correct. Abort that mission and fly another one. Do not fly to EDOA again, from anywhere. Do not skip to shutdown, it will teleport you on top of the hangar and then crash you anyway.
Career mode becomes unplayable after doing the IFR test. The game injects āreal weatherā which means constant high winds that cannot be handled in a Cessna. I bought my first plane and now I should complete missions in 30-40 kts of crosswind. Impossible. And this is not indicated on the world map at all. You accept a mission and then you realize the wind wants to rip off the pitot cover from the plane.
Do NOT do the IFR certification!

Ah, but think of the bad weather bonuses.
Thereās no bonus when you crash. And you will crash, because the C172 canāt be landed in 30-40 kts of wind. This whole career mode is a mess.
Sorry, the emoji should have conveyed that I was being somewhat flippant.
I had fairly severe landing conditions myself yesterday, with a mere 20kts+ crosswind, that I did get lucky on, with a slightly off-runway landing that was recorded as being OK.
It perhaps wouldnāt be so bad if you could rely on the weather reports and provide a believable way to reject the mission?
I know you were joking, Iām just too frustrated to receive it well enough. 
The assistance options donāt even apply to the Career. Even if I set turbulence to low, in the Career mode it stays on realistic. Itās ridiculous, the wind is throwing my Cessna around like a leaf. Pure incompetence from the designersā part.

So, right now, I am doing a VIP transport over Belgium in a C172 at 9,000ft with a crosswind of 7-9kt. The date on my tablet is August 15th, 2022. So, maybe the missions have been quietly nerfed to be less windy? I selected a non-live mission for this.
Please report back here if you find a calm region in-game.
https://www.windy.com suggests Europe should be fine in live mode right now, but I am just too scared to try.
