Not entirely true. You are correct that they need to be bought (It is free) in the marketplace after release and are optional. Once bought, they appear in the content manager and can be handled from there (Uninstall/reinstall/update).
Next week Wednesday. 26th June.
And I hope they have a few apologies, at least for the guys on X-Box.
Wouldnât they announce the location of the next world update tomorrow? with the dev update.
Venice looks very good and very accurate. The only thing I noted was a diagonal black line from St. Marks square to the Hilton Molino Stucky almost as if sections of scenery arent quite aligned . If it persists I may report it.
The search field to position aircraft does not find handcrafted POIs yet does find airport identifiers and position coordinates following WU9. This is a PC problem. Uninstalled/Reinstalled MSFS. Same problem. Anyone having this problem too? I could not find a setting that controls the search for POIâs.
Trees are an abomination now. Theyâre everywhere and about 5 times the size they should be. And this on top of the SU9 problems with frame-rates and LODs, which the hotfix didnât fix for me. Removing this update from my system. Wish I could do the same for SU9.
Are you one of the developers? Also what is Flightsim.io? Thank you for your hard workâŠim on Xbox and have not yet tried this update, im just watching the thread ![]()
One question, if you remove this world update the trees bug still exist? AndâŠonly happens in photogrammetry cities?
I hit one of those lines in the water in Venice in my float plane when going slowly and the plane seemed to jump a bit. Then later I hit another one going much faster which caused a CTD. The lines seem to be present quite a lot in areas where there are lakes.
Great tip.
Solved it! ![]()
Thx
Guys,
I have a dense jungle almost everywhere⊠Boston, Ney york, Miami, Rome, Milan, Duisburg etc.
does it come from WU 9 or SU 9? I installed SU 9 one week ago, but didnât use the sim⊠what to do now?
Some people mentioned, that deleting WU9 didnât fix it, right?
IMO getting hands on systems having serious problems is exactly what developers need to do. They have admitted having difficulty reproducing reported issues. They really need to get out in the field to see exactly what is going on when some systems are not functioning as they should. That is unlikely to happen just reading zendesk reports! Have they not made any use of remote operation for that purpose?
Same for me in all photogrammetry cities.
Perhaps if Asobo cannot stop âunder-deliveringâ they would consider an end to the âover-promising.â
One of two things happened with WU9: They either didnât take a look at it before they released it -or-they looked at it and said âItâs good enough, release it anyway.â Neither of these possibilities augers well for the future unless something fundamental changes --and soon.
Itâs a comparatively minor thing, but itâs worrying to me that stuff like this is allowed to happen without any sort of testing first. It reaks of unprofessional behaviour and a blasĂ© attitude to the finer details.
Exactly what i said i another post, the whole of souther italy was skipped except NaplesâŠSicily for example itâs amazing yet it had no love.
I donât know! Thatâs my questionâŠwhen? I forget what types of videos are presented when but typically they announce (and release a trailer for the current one) the same day we get the current one. That didnât happen with this one.
Unless Iâm remembering wrong??
I tried Mriyaâs trees fix mod. Unfortunately it simply revert large trees to photogrammetry blobs. I personally prefer overlarge trees to PG blobs. That said, I still want to say thanks to Mriya for all his effort. Some might prefer the trees mod, especially when flying high.
Sorry man. I feel for you all, I do. (Itâs kind of like watching a 15 car pile-up. Just when you think âItâs over. I canât possibly get worseâ then the next set of cars come crashing inâŠ)
