Because there seems to be a conflict with whatever you installed in there prior to the patch, whether its mods or whatever it is and by deleting it the sim will function correctly.
In regards to the a320 left engine shutting off it could be the mod where some of us changed in the other folder not community
Extremely disappointed with this update, I expected at least the announcement of a hotfix sometime soon, not another weekās wait for info about another patch. Sigh.
I have struggled just to get this patch installed. There is a issue with the large files, namely the fs-base-cgl on a endless loop. I finally had to uninstall and my reinstall is in progress. It really is frustrating with limited Internet speed - 20Mbps. It seems there are many moving parts to the GamePass version which probable exasperates the updates. The last patch installed fine, but this one not at all.
Yes you have right. itās worse then was and realy problems are not solved. Iāll go back to Xplane for the now.

They did actually acknowledge the issues - you needed to read beyond the first paragraph:

Maybe because calling it a joke isnāt especially constructive nor helpful to resolving any of the issues you might have
It is a joke because they are all copy and pasted responses. Especially to say people are having āa bit of turbulenceā seems like a slap in the face to many that are literally experiencing complete engine failure with no divert airstrip in range.
Fix the a320 and work with gitub team! they will create a good a320 for free, why you go against your comunity?
they acknowoledge, bust still no fix, itās 3 days with a320 bugged, this is a game not a beta, we are not betatester, give us the a320 back

I took off the mod before patch, and tried the plane witout patch to see how it was, still random no battery turned on, random left engine turn off when apu is off, autopilot going crazy at half of the flight.
Actually i tried after, with the mod, it goes a little better then default plane, i actually completed ONE flight with modded plane, after that again everytime random problems.
that is atc, swap atc voice to āWindows offline voiceā and you wonāt crash
No, a320 default still got the problem, witout the mod
i have it, too bad graphics for vfr and too bad wheater system also with payware mods
yeah they have said that but, third party programmers are getting no response, a big project with tons of people working on it, should be their priority, instead they donāt even answer to gitub guys, i bet it will come out an a320 payware, and we will be idiot and we will buy it
They have to get the download speed fixed. ~2.5Mbps aināt gonna cut it. The sim is fine, but the supporting infrastructure is just plain bad. Meanwhile, I cannot use the sim until I can download itā¦again!
Iām aware of that i was just wondering if itās due to the panel folder I changed in the non community folder (I forgot the name of the other folder). But if you never changed anything in that folder then ok its the update that killed it. I canāt even turn the A320 on at all

Yes excellent point i totally agree with you, the community is what keeps these sims alive. What we have is a forced patchā¦no option to defer it for laterā¦no beta download only if you want to take the risk etc like we get in X planeā¦NOPE just a rushed and forced patch that leaves just as many issues as it solves. Whatās the point of having a community folder if at every patch all our community additions are not going to work.
Plus who the hell is flagging all these posts! stop it and grow up!
