I’m implementing in-flight engine flameout notifications and other update. It is not because I was accidentally pressed ctrl + shift + e or fuel shutdown swith in-flight. It just prepare for an emergency, just in case!
I can barely fly 550 NM with your mod at 35% throttle. Since this plane has a 2000nm range, something is amiss here.
Thanks for your feedback, MROY10151987
2 days ago, I found my mistake what related unintended fuel consumption in specific condition.
I and my tester decided to update revised version later, because I and my tester need more tests for various conditions.
Yeah, I figured something was off when I could fly further in the m339 with its 950nm range than I could in the f15. Thanks for the update.
I made some mistakes during revised data.
I was using actual F100-PW-229’s fuel consumption data from flight test and research paper references, but I was mistaken in the recent update. It related to really, really simple parameter, but I will not reveal what my mistake, because it is really embarrassing.
(I think I was confused simple parameter by few days all-night work.)
I’m also investigating the unintended supersonic flight issue too.
I expect my next fix update will containing aforementioned related fixes.
However, the update what include above fixes might need more time, because of my recent health issue.
Here is my official statements about doubt and baseless blame.
Someone claimed I was taken others data and idea.
Also, one of them @SilentG37 said ’ Extremely suspicious ’
Added after I wrote
Also, you said
’ when others tell you to “borrow” from another mod specific things, and then you release a mod update with those “borrowed” ideas, or something very similar, it seems extremely suspicious. ’
Who said about this to me?
NOBODY.
I was only received bug report and feedback in this forum. Other from flightsim.to said please fix ICAO information. That’s all what I can remember.
Am I just blamed by your imagination? Is it joke? or what?
SO I want to ask him or them.
What kind of data and what kind of idea did I take from others?
Also, who request that to me?
As I said, I have never taken anything from Jack’s or yours, including idea BECAUSE I DON’T NEED YOURS.
Of course, I saw forum threads sometimes, but it is just scrolling down to remove notification. I don’t read it carefully. (Because I can’t, and I don’t want to spend my time because I need time to translate it. - I already said I’m not living in the English native region.)
Also, @NYZ06000 never talk about Jack’s or yours data to me. I can prove it, if you want and if NYZ06000 agree to reveal his PM to public. He only talked about feedback or bug on my mod. (My mistakes in CDI function, and flight model feeling, and request about HSI axis aligning)
If he delivered data from other mod or someone did it, I would have blocked them immediately. (Fortunately, nobody did it.)
For your information, I always send a message like ’ please post on my public thread, not PM, if possible. '. Of course, I feel for sorry to them, but reason is simple, because of my laziness to press a PM button and check it. Also, I want to share my mod’s bug or unintended behavior with other people. (Because it can make the good information)
I think you guys need to be more careful before doubt others or blame others.
By following your opinion and doubt, I was updated more earlier about landing/taxiing light fix, afterburner thrust, RPM information on HUD and other many things. Even I properly revised earlier about F-15s weight and fuel capacity and engine thrust. How did you guys think about this? My works, what related I released earlier are negligible with my efforts?
Tell me, what exactly I have taken from you and Jack.
I have my references and reason why not refer to yours. Also, I already have opened my reference documents to the public because I believe it is good help to others.
How can you guys blame and insult my efforts with just thought and doubt. I have my pride for my past studies about aerospace engineering, and doctor degree and my efforts, because I love the sky and aircraft, and because I choose that.
I also know how bad plagiarism is from my experience in writing research papers and presenting lots of conferences. This efforts are really painful, but it is worthwhile when it completed. I can guarantee I know this more than you.
Also, when I’m working my Boeing 747-8i reworks, I’m only referring others or Asobo’s default codes for study and understanding purpose, not copy and paste. Even I’m not a good coder, I’m always implementing codes or functions by my way based on study and understand.
In my F-15 reworks, I never referred others mod, because I don’t need it. Only I saw default aircraft’s codes, SDK and my reference documents. Also, I have already opened to the public my reference documents because I believe it is good help to others.
Really disappointed.
You can post what ever you like about our conversations anytime. I agree.
Keep up your hard work. I’m sorry for some of this too. Ok.
I want to say thanks you to you.
I even didn’t know their baseless blame on me before you said.
At least, I was respecting them and their efforts with Dean. This is why I opened my reference documents (to respect them, and to help them, just in case).
However, Now I think it is hard to continue respecting or cheer in this situation.
I believed them, but they doubt me…ha…really disappointed.
Oh me too.
Just keep on if you like, if you don’t want to promote the product, well I wouldn’t blame you either.
I’m a fan of the F-15 but not Dean or his company. Really sour taste, they will never see another penny from me.
I think this is really nonsense situation.
They doubted and blamed me, and source and evidence is their imagination.
But, nobody apologized to me about their baseless action.
Is this right?
Moving forward, please keep all posts directly relevant to the mod itself.
It does not benefit the community to de-rail the thread with other matters.
Thanks everyone for your cooperation in this matter.
I never made it to test this last Revision 25. I’m looking forward to seeing how it does this evening. Your other two were very good.
Here’s what I was about to post before that thread was locked (ref: DC Designs - F-15 Strike Eagle (C, D, E & I))
@YuriKAiRi Keep working on your mod, it’s fine.
@SilentG37 You need to take a chill pill mate.
That was me who suggested it, and I stand by it.
The history of IP is copying ideas from other people and building on it.
The only issue is if someone copies code directly cut & paste style, or do they take the idea and implement it their own way in their own system. The former, not so good, the latter - that’s how ideas spread and is how the world works. A credit is always nice for the idea if you can manage it, but you can’t claim to “own it” as it’s most likely it wasn’t even original to begin with and was itself inspired by something else (DCS etc).
These are both good mods but it’s both sad and hilarious to see people fighting it out to be “The One Mod To Rule Them All”.
I’m flipping between both atm because the base model isn’t satisfactory enough of a flight experience.
I have the MB-339, T-45C, Fiat-G91, Long-Ez, Zenith, Xcub variants (free extensions of the base plane not mods per se), Spitfire and the F-15.
What annoys me is having to even install a mod to get a good flight experience, and the F-15 is the most expensive add-on of the lot. Other mods provide multiple models/liveries, regular updates, and don’t need “mods” to make the product a great flying experience out of the box.
That’s my feedback as a paying customer of the F-15.
I realise the dev is a solo indy (afaik) but if he wants to sell a premum product then the product should act like a premium product out of the box. It shouldn’t need a mod to perform properly. You can’f just say “but the model is nice”, it needs to fly and perform to a certain standard as well.
Ultimately this is a product management issue, and the F-15 developer needs to take that onboard.
@YuriKAiRi Looking forward to the next iteration.
Your Mod Feedback: I’ve noticed it can get into a strange porpoising type motion at high altitude. Usually triggered by low speed at high altitude (say ~38 K ft) and you stall or almost stall, then try to recover by throttle up. It then gets into a porpoising or swinging type motion around the planes longitudinal axis.
Not being an F-15 pilot in real life, I can’t say if this is realistic or not, but it doesn’t seem so.
All of this has been blown way out of proportion.
I’ve never stated anything was stolen, it could have been a coincidence, he could have looked at just a picture to get an idea and made his own, I have no idea.
I was not the one that made this public nor did I really care that much about it. Just something I thought personally was a bit in bad taste, but thats me.
This was thrust into the public light by someone that was not on the mod team, and potentially taken out of context. I have no idea(Im not speaking for jack and how he phrases his private messages).
I’ve never once stated anything related to this issue in public before today and still have not accused him of anything.
This was all started by an individual who made things more than it was and blown extremely out of proportion.
I can’t speak for the others but for me this should have never been done in the public spotlight. If anything private messages between the two mod owners, but that option was taken away from us.
People are free to fly whichever mod they like, and I personally hold no ill will toward @YuriKAiRi what so ever.
I think we all need to just move on from this and enjoy the jet we are all working so hard to perfect and enjoy.
I don’t want to come on the forums and make these long posts. It’s silly. All I want to do is code and perfect this airplane, because I find great enjoyment in the development process. I am sure @YuriKAiRi does as well.
Can we all agree to please end the drama and move on. Enjoy coding and flying and amazing aircraft?
I will not comment on this further. Best Regards,
Silent
It is totally in the best interests of the community for things that should be private to remain private.
This thread should be exclusively devoted to a discussion on the mod at hand.
May everyone who is using it continue to enjoy doing so.
Let’s move on.
Thanks for everyone’s cooperation in this matter.
Here is my reply about feedback, and reply about the comment.
Also, I will announce the update plan afterwards about my reworks mod.
The first is my update plan.
I was preparing about MFD function improvements what including MFD menu interaction. Also, I was investigating my flight model related unintended behavior over 20,000 feet.
However, I very disappointed by yesterday incident what someone doubt and put the frame me, and now I completely lost my enthusiasm, motivation whatever for F-15. I think they or someone whatever wants to break my wings, and they or someone whatever are successfully did it.
Except fix or improve current unintended behavior what I recognized, I will stop and finish further works for this mod. There is no reason to continue my works with disrespect and baseless doubt and blame. Rather than this F-15 reworks, I will continue my previous other reworks and improvement project what is temporary suspended by this mod.
@Sonicviz
Really thanks for your cheer and feedback. I think it may related to lacking of lift generation. I will investigate that with other unintended behaviors what was reported from my friends (my closed testers).
@SilentG37
I think you still don’t understand why I feel disappointed and offended. I don’t care about who leak or who made into the public. Did you think it didn’t matter until it was known.?
At least, I had respect and believe you and your teams until yesterday. This is why I wrote my major reference documents in my mod description, I thought it may necessary and helpful. I think this is my mistake and foolish. I didn’t even imagine that you or your team or yours someone thought of me like that.
Also, what free to fly? what agree? and what drame? Am I joining this joke? No way.
Except fix or improve current unintended behavior what I recognized, I will stop and finish further works for this mod. There is no reason to continue my works with disrespect and baseless doubt and blame.
Congraturation, you or your team or whatever successfully break my wing.
Also, you and your team should be remembered this…ill will should be considered based on the victim’s standard, not the perpetrator.
Sorry to Forum Moderator, I hope this is my last comment about yesterday incident. After this comment, I will return to the original discussion for this for its proper purpose of this thread.
