Shoot back to this post from a few days ago and the replies just after it, cabin climate isn’t something I look at but this looks like it might be useful. (click on the blue “Flysimware Cessna 414A” to get back to the message)
Sorry I have not tried the air conditioning knobs with the newest updates.
Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but I can only get an ILS approach to work about 25% of the time. I dial in the ILS frequency (on both GTN units) and set them to active. On the GTN 750 I set it to VLOC1. Localiser needle displays on the gauge as expected, and glideslope bug appears on the attitude indicator as expected. I arm approach mode, aim to intercept the localiser at a nice shallow angle and below the glideslope, but 75% of the time nothing happens. So I end up flying the approach manually. When flying manually, I can track both the localiser needle and the glideslope bug, so it’s definitely not an issue with nav frequencies. Am I missing some other step? Some other step that I’m “accidentally” getting right the other 25% of the time?
Maybe this is not the solution, but did you also set your autopilot on approach mode?
Yes. I mentioned that in my post above.
Pressed B to confirm exact altitude?

Ah I see our second most beloved and most important airplane coming right after the Fenix got another update!
That is glorious! Thank you very much.
Is that Lower Loon creek? It certainly looks like it.
Lower Loon Creek is one of the most beautyful and challenging airports. I use it for test interior textures, and for screenshots.
Thank you.
Where new liveries get installed now?
If as before, in the Community folder, then they are not showing up in the sim. At least for me!
FSW renamed the plane from 414A to 414AW and that broke the path to the addon liveries. A couple have been updated but not all.
When is the weather radar API for third party add-ons planned?
if im not wrong on SU10?
Hi,
Is there any way to get my non default liveries back in the In Sim Liveries menu? They show as enabled in my community folder?
Any Help much appreciated
Best Regards
Charlie (UK)
That would be too good to be true, because “the third party weather radar api and the weather radar issue” was announced before the previous two SU´s too
And why was the Cessna 414 renamed to AW? Is this something different?
The old mod livery files refer to the wrong filename as it has been changed by FSW in the last updates. Some liveries have been updated, so you can use those.
Terrain & Weather Radar Drawing APIs
Check this out.
i think finally we will have weather radars working on all planes / add-ons that have the option.
Crazy that on my TDS the weather radar works…
I think its always been known as the 414AW, but the folder for the product, and I guess it’s internal name didn’t match that for some reason, and has now be addressed.
This is the filename of the earliest version I have:
FLYSIMWARE_Cessna_414AW_Chancellor_Beta1.8.0.exe
