Just by terrain, I would put that north of Nevada. The end of the Wasatch front? Can’t wait to learn where it is.

I thought the same as well. I first started in Arizona though, Prescott and Phoenix. Then I started looking in Eastern California, Ridgecrest Inyokern, around Edwards afb. Then I went to Salt Lake and Utah… Nevada, Vegas/Boulder, Lake Havasu… And New Mexico…
But Finally I landed in El Paso Texas right on the border with Ciudad Juárez, Mexico! I kept searching for a populated area next to those dark reddish, volcanic mountain range on the right side of the frame.

We can really start to get creative with these. Images at night can be especially hard to identify city and town shapes. As well images from a pilots perspective instead of exterior angles!

I don’t think it’s Queenstown. The layout of the terrain is wrong, and the mountains are closer.

And we have a winner! I chose this one because LFKJ has one of the most spectacular approaches, the circling to runway 20 approach. Rnav rwy 20 is great as well. And it‘s just an incredibly beautiful island. One of my favourite holiday destinations.
