I think what destroys this community is people either think Asobo are gods or hate them for delivering less than was speculated. Therefore if you want to compliment or you want to vent you get flamed either by the true believers or the true disappointed. This forum is disappointing and the overseers of this forum seem to be run by a bunch of mainly males that have spent a lifetime behind computer screens getting ribbons for participation at school. I like what you wrote it was honest and it was your opinion . Good on you!

I’ve quit pushing…and back on my other sims now. Its on the shelf I’m afraid and I’m not going to stress myself about it .decision FINAL. uninstalled. Waste of money. I’ve cut my losses and moved on. This is a game, not a sim pretty graphics don’t fool me.

Yes the graphics are amazing its a shame they did not work harder on the part of the simulation. I would have preferred less planes and ones that worked but that doesn’t look good for selling it on X Box .

I am sure we used to get ATC on the ground for taxing or was that an arrow thing that used to show on the ground? in FSX?
You are so right. Another friend of mine who got msfs said he got carried away by the hype and videos of previews, now he’s very disappointed. He also said if he had known that it would turn out like this, he would have never bought it. He’s angry now because that money could have gone for his family vacation he is saving for, or his weekly groceries.. he is very upset and moved on. So did I. Very disappointing…

I don’t want to be here but I am so heavily invested as I bought a new $5000 PC on all the hype and spent sop much time and its simply a graphics feast for X Box. I do feel lied to and ripped off but I am committed now. I want to reinstall P3d but Ill have to start from scratch so I am sorta caught!
It’s like walking at the beach and the next cove looks close and you go around the point and it’s still so far away, I just keep walking along…

Thanks so much for understanding, my good man! I feel exactly like you …I’ve reinstalled p3d too but it didn’t take long, like this one which took days! It only took a couple hours, pointed everything to orbx central,went to flight 1 purchasing agent, reinstated active sky and had the others on external USB drive and installed. Job done ! I’m having a real blast, and my fsx is there too. Hooray!!!

Happy birthday. And even though you’ve moved on and uninstalled, its good that you’re still here checking in. Maybe you haven’t left completely, just taking a break until you think it’s worthwhile to reinstall it again?

This is where I am those last days, waiting for Sim update 3. Imagine I fly here in VR ultra settings, native 90fps and supersampling between 1.75 and 2.0. I don’t need to reinstall FSX

Hmm tell me about it. I uninstalled FSX, XP and P3D many months ago, think last year, and got rid of DCS two weeks ago

Well I guess everyone drank the flightsim kool aid 
I cleaned up FSX just 2 days before getting the CTD that now wont let me launch MFS at all, forget getting the UK update.
No number of uninstall reinstall routine will get me past 1.4 Gig base install to get rest 100 Gigs of packages. Has been a mixed bag with me - faced slightly better situation post Japan update where I got CTD every time I clicked Ready to Fly. Things got rectified with US update and got completely knocked out with UK update. 
Zendesk wont respond beyond an acknowledgement, provided them the crash dump. Spent hours and hours doing almost everything including all of sfc scan, DSIM , chkdsk and these didnt report any issues with h/w either.
Now waiting for benelux update, fingers crossed. 
I just uninstalled msfs2020 , back to XP11 with scenery enhancement and reshade plus airbus study level, I’m happier now, let’s the msfs2020 get more mature for now.
