imo i think this sim is more cloud based than we r use to. way too many intermittent issues. one thing that worked fine yesterday does not work today. mainly multi-play and scenery. yesterday we all could fly together and today we cant see each other. yesterday i had wonderful scenery in ultra and the next day its all a blur. im constantly getting the low bandwidth alarm with my 150m connection. just my opinion guys. im hoping they put some effort into a robust server solution.

i dont know if this means anything but i found something yesterday on my system. im always getting low bandwidth warnings and seeing few users online. i fly for 10 minutes and my scenery goes to mush with maybe 5 users. i would always check my internet speed and it says i have my full 150m connection.
i started monitoring my nic card in task manager. when i fire up the sim it would show i was using 50 Mbps while loading up. i start at an airport get in the air and everything is fabulous. after about 10 minutes of flight my scenery starts looking like mush. i check my task manager and im using 5-10 Kbps.
so now im wondering whats up with that. luckily i have multiple network connections in my house so it was easier for me to trouble shoot. my pc is hard wired with a straight Ethernet cable to the 1gig router. i have 3 other wireless connection for various stuff like google and tablets. uno how u need the stupid expanders to cover the whole house. well they all still go to the same internet connection so why would i use that for my pc connection.
anyway, i started swapping my connections from cable to wireless. i used cable 1g, 2.4 wireless 54m and 5g 890m to my 150m internet router. i found my wireless connections worked better than my wired connection but not great. i guess i couldve bought a bad cable last month when i moved my pit.
so now im wondering why the usage is dropping so bad. i checked all my routers and they dont seem to be slowing the connection. i have 5Kbps from the sim while having 150Mbps from the browser during the speed test. im running w10 pro. im thinking that windows might be doing something. so what can i do about that. i couldnt find where to force the network connection, seems to me we used to be able to force the nic card speed back in w95. so i went after the sims priority settings. first i set priority to high, omg what a difference. it worked better than i could imagine. but one big flaw.. nothing else worked on the internet. i could not browse or connect to discord. my 3rd party addons would not work but the sim was on fire.
Conclusionā¦ i wrote a batch file to start the sim with priority set to AboveNormal. i flew all afternoon with ultra settings not missing a thing. the scenery was UHD quality and the sky was filled with user tags as far as i could see. although this still is not perfect. after a while i would see my connection drop to the Kbps range. i simply disabled and re-enabled the card and instantly back to 5-50Mbps streaming. another thing to keep in mind, i used 28gig yesterday flying for a few hours but boy did i have fun.

i see only a few players in the game. Servers should have problems
Since today, i see nobody in gameā¦i try to play with a friend, but i donāt see him.
Last week we succed to play togetherā¦but today i donāt know whyā¦i canāt see any player.
curious. i have deactivate live traffic and a ton of multiplayers are on my map now. Servers seems to have issue to deal live and multiplayer traffic together.
And now, live Weather is not working. Always the same clear weather everywhere on earth
everything is working properly now, I have delete everything in my community folder and relaunch.
Hello I was able to connect to servers and not now , since the lasts updates.
The servers log stacks on āAutomaticā and I canāt compete to the challenges as āCourchevelā I donāt see the scores. When I go to Xbox Network on Windows 10 sometimes the Xbox live multiplayer is disconnected, sometimes is connected, and the same result in game.
Can you share how to write a batch file with priority set to high? I have absolutely no idea of any of that, so please be as detailed as possible and step by step, I would appreciate a lot, thanks.

this is where mine is installed just replace my path with your full path to the sim. i dont know where the exe is for the store version. although you can test it by starting the sim then going to task manager/details look for flightsimulater, right click and set priority.
this is not the fix but has helped my experience with what i have to work with..

last nite again, on east server at 29 ms ping, in LIVE OR ALL PLAYERS=NO TRAFFIC,NO OTHER USERS PLANES ANYWHERE(green plane icon=none)
althoi I did notice the toronto intāl airport was showing its traffic on LIVE AIRPORT ACTIVITY
just no live planes!
but NO green player planes anywhere on map
the airport servers were showing the airports traffic tho,I couldnt tho see ANY live planesā¦
went to heathrow(Usually what 200 planes lol) and there was NONE
