All of the audio chatter on my flights is a monotone female voice. This includes the Pilot, the co-Pilot and ATC. I believe it’s something to do Azure. A couple of times I’ve lost connection to Azure during a flight and got a pop up message. From that moment the voices were much better and more authentic relative to the region that I was flying in.
Is there a way to improve the quality, accents, variety and localisation of the ATC and pilot voices?

The bottom line is that both Azure and Offline have a limited set of voices to draw upon, and partially is reliant upon the default Language Pack a user has loaded in their Windows installation.
I can’t help but be a little, dissapointed? with the functionality of the ingame ATC at present. I recognise that it’s perhaps not the simplest thing to implement, but i’m surprised to see they’ve used a lot of the legacy code for this area.
Having seen and used a lot of the Azure tech stack and what it can do, I feel it’s maybe a bit of a missed opportunity to showcase some of the language AI features - like being able to speak back to the ATC with a mic and have it run through Natural Languag…
My co-pilot and I should have different and unique voices not used by anyone else, female and male. It’s very annoying when they tower orders a go-around and the same voice says “going around”. All ATC voices should not be used by AI traffic either and AI traffic should never use my or my co-pilot’s voice. So in total up to 8 different voices would be nice. I don’t know if voices can easily be altered synthetically without sounding robotic or if voice actors are required. For immersion purposes …
Having every ATC in the world manned by Americans is immersion breaking and since Azure is supposed to be awesomely brilliant…not seen any evidence of this so far. Show me.
