I am surprised that the C152 didn’t advance further given how beneficial and how “friendly” it is to new pilots. But, anyways, go SR22 as always!
Congratulations to yesterday’s winners! Each of these planes advance to the Round of 16.
- Cirrus SR22T
- Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner
- de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou
- Antonov AN-225

Beechcraft Bonanza G36 & V35 vs. Cessna 172 Skyhawk
Diamond DA62 vs. Robin DR400-100 Cadet
I guess I can say it here. The thumbnail for the Bonanza has always driven me crazy. It looks like there’s no cockpit window. And I just can’t un-see it.
flying only the a320neo

King Air is crushing the DC-3.
I know this is entirely subjective and opinion-based, but the community is flat-out voting wrongly on this one!
It’s currently 50/50 at 460 votes!
That’s just Twitter, though, which only gets about 5-10% as many votes as Instagram does. On Insta, it’s currently 65-35 for the King Air at the time of this post.
Oh, my… I think there’s a lesson here for me to learn. Don’t elect the President on Twitter
We’re on to the Round of 16! See the updated bracket below:
Were there any surprise upsets? In my personal opinion, the DC-3 got knocked out way too early, but it’s you, the community, who pick the winners!

Oh no… Support the Queen!
I blame the A320 love on FlyByWire
OMG. What has the MSFS the world come to? The mighty Skyhawk - the quintessential Microsoft Flight Simulator plane - loses to an Airbus. And the last cool plane remaining has to battle it out against three airliners (which IRL would be decidedly one-sided).
I already see the A320 winning this thing.
The horror of it all …
No GA aircraft at this point!
Out of those four I do think that the 747 will win and the A320 in a close second!
The 747 is an icon to aviation so it is not surprising seeing it this far up, and the A320 is typically the commercial airliner that is most popular in MSFS given how it is a great stater to the commercial aviation fleet!
