MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager (with Touch Panel Support)

This has been reported and requested in multiple threads since the sim lauched. It has gotten zero traction or attention. And there are several archived / locked posts about it as well. It’s been asked about in Q&As and never addressed. It really doesn’t seem that they’re at all interested in addressing it.

Touch Screen issues with Pop out Panels

Hey, I’m wondering if anyone else is having issues with their touch screen displays and pop out panels. Specifically with the Garmin G3X Touch. I’m able to pop out the panel and move it over to my 11" touch display, but the touch controls don’t work. Touch works with all other applications I throw at it, it even works in the FS2020 main window, but not on the pop-out panels.

Touchscreen Support

I’m kind of surprised this one doesn’t exist here yet, it’s been discussed in other sections. Currently touchscreen monitors do not allow proper touch input, either directly in the sim or with the pop out panels. This would make using the G3000/G5000 systems that have the (in-game) touch screens way more usable. Screen mirroring touch screen

Hi Im trying to move a panel to a different computer with touch screen support. I am using the build in screen mirroring in windows 10 and I can control everything fine using touch screen on the secondary pc, like the start menu on windows 10 etc. so touch screen is working fine. When i move the GARMIN G5000 touch panel to the secondary computer it is visble but the touch functionallity does not work in the panel. And this was a reply I got from one of the Asobo devs over on the devsupport forum about it earlier today.

While the new popout feature is appreciated and works well, it causes more problems than it solves. Literally, of the 4 main issues wiht popouts, this is the least important as we already had POPM to fix it.

It seems that if it isn’t a feature that supports all platforms, they’re not really interested in fleshing it out into a fully developed feature. We just have to look at the flight recorder and multi-screen support to see that.
