This has been going on for three days now in half of Europe? Maybe do not do cloud when unable to do cloud. Observability is key.
Also stuck at “CHECKING FOR UPDATES”. I’m based in Austria.
Seems like servers are down again for 2020. Was in the sim had a CTD then tried restarting it and i am stuck at the “checking for update” same as the week end before? Is Asobo/MS getting their sh…together? Seems like they are a bunch of kids new to the IT world
Yup, think it’s down again from Netherlands
The sim main menu, finally. About to start a 777F flight now.
Did you just wait or restart?
You got in?
Oh, I restarted a couple times, tried the Store repair tool, the whole nine yards. This was about my 7th overall attempt to start the sim this morning to make this flight.
this is terrible i want a full refund
In the development stream the other day, did they mention that they increased capacity of 2024 and world loading is done the same way as 2020 for the most part if you have a high stored cache. Is this now causing 2020 capacity issues?
Yep, same problem as last week.. had the 0gb install.. hit continue.. loaded to home screen and crashed to desktop immediately. Rebooted PC and not going past checking for update screens.. Looks like they need more servers to meet weekend capacity when everyone is logging on 2024 and 2020..
Sigh, so much for my Saturday evening scheduled flight. Guess I’ll just go and do something else rather than wait for Massobo to get their act together.
Got 2 hours to spend now and then …
Same here… loading now for over 20 minutes, also did a restart of both sim and windows. Annoying…
Stuck on checking for updates here in southeast US. Someone really should be fired for this ongoing ■■■■. Every weekend now Jorg! Hope you’re enjoying your Saturday in Seattle while we all suffer.
if your on xbox just press the xbox logo on your controller twice and you get past the install thing
I feel the same way. Although i think that Microsoft is more to blame than Asobo for these server issues.
The place where you can report issues like this, seems to be hidden like the Holy Grail.
